SOrry but I disagree. My most returned item is clothing. I pay for my own return postage and 90% of the time the return postage is around $5.00-$6.00. IF the item cost $35.00 including outgoing postage so I get a refund of $32.00 minus my cost for return postage so my net refund is about $26.00. For me that amount of a refund is worth doing the return. I don't throw away $26.00 for the slight inconvenience of going to the Post Office.

I always use their return lable because the item is insured if you do. When you send it back on your own, and do not pay extra for the insurance, you risk the item being lost and you are out of luck. In most cases UPS has insurance for most things you send back but if you use USPS not true. I have found that the $6.95 is, in most cases, cheaper than sending it back yourself with the added insurance fee.
