Re: THIS IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN QVC AND HSN

For those who still don't realize this:

ST. PETERSBURG — The shopping conglomerate that owns HSN and QVC has restructured the company even more since combining the two networks under the same business in the fall, its chief executive told investors on Thursday.

In its shareholder breakdown of year-end and fourth-quarter revenues, Qurate Retail, Inc. noted that HSN is now a subsidiary of QVC Inc. Despite maintaining its branding, network and local offices, HSN has officially been absorbed by its long-time at-home shopping rival. As of Dec. 31, QVC included QVC U.S., QVC International and HSN.

You can also use your QVC or Zulily card for HSN purchases.

Agree completely.  I watch HSN far more than QVC and more important, buy more from HSN.  Better prices, better shipping.

HSN shipping is superb.   I receive frequent, accurate notifications which keep me informed.

More often than not I receive my purchase prior to the estimated delivery date.

Let's hope that doesn't change!

HSN is way more customer centered. If the same product is on both channels, I'd order it from HSN every time.

And the frequency of 20% off coupons is amazing!

I don't think I've ever received one from QVC!

@SoCal Bred,

Yes, I think you may be referrring to how QVC uses the "slowpost" of USPS. Still even when I use their label, I make sure to get a tracking number from

looking up every number and what shipping company they are using, then I have to call them to let them know its been returned. Anyway, too much to go thru for sure! That's been my experience anyway.

Here is another diff, I stopped ordering from HSN years ago due to constant problems.

Recently placed an order for Lancome Bifocils Eye Makeup remover.  Those of you familiar, know it is a higher priced CLEAR formula.

I received 2 bottles, barely half full (yet sealed) and TOTAL FOAM inside.  WHITE gunk NO clear liquid.  You could see things floating.   Reading reviews others got the same JUNK!

If I wanted counterfeit product, I would order for less at ebay.

Would never trust cosmetics from HSN again.

I have ordered cosmetics of all kinds from QVC for years and NEVER receive a false, defective product.

How totally diff!  I've never had an HSN problem in over 25 years!

@Johnnyeager

I was shocked and really disappointed, especially when I read the reviews that others got bad product as well.

I ordered a large bottle from Q on the last free shipping day.  It was actually $2 cheaper than Ulta...back then.  It was perfect.

That has been my experience as well. Just gonna say that it's a highly competitive race in the retail marketplace these days and those who can't keep up are going to be left in the dust....
