I just noticed that for the second time in 10 days, one of my orders went from "In Process" to "Backordered." So now TWO of my orders, garments that were supposedly available when I bought them, are now on backorder. One of them is a dress that was a blowout clearance price, and the other is pedal pushers, clearly a summer item that won't be stocked anytime soon. Now I doubt I will get either one. Not a catastrophe, but really, what the heck is going on? And if I don't get them, do you think QVC will do anything to compensate me for their incompetence? I understand mistakes happening, but this seems to be a system failure. And NO, QVC will not do anything to make up for this. Has anyone else had any of their orders changed to "Backorder?"

There is so much going on in the world and my QVC shopping has always been a guilty pleasure.
I do not let myself become overly anxious about what QVC is doing, because in the big picture, it is really just a minor inconvenience.
Perhaps you can just think, "I really didn't need it anyway." "If it ever arrives, it will be a nice surprise."
I am sure that their warehouses are much worse than my closets!

@Puppy Lips- I had an order that was a LTS go to "backorder". I honestly didn't think I'd get it, but a couple of days ago I noticed it went to "in process" and it just shipped yesterday.
I still have one order from the Blowout Clearance Sale that is in process. So I wouldn't give up hope just yet.

If QVC wants to make some $$$, they could offer tours of the warehouse for an admissions fee. I'd give anything to know what's going on there.

@Kachina624 Me too! Maybe I can find the necklace that was supposedly shipped to me years ago, but never had any tracking and never showed up at my door!

@Kachina624 NO, the tour should be free but you'd have to pack and ship 3 packages before you leave. Just to get a real feel of what goes on. . . and help us out! ![]()

i have been frustrated this past 3+ weeks with a Beekman order that was first "waitlisted" on 10/12, then cancelled and reordered, then went to "backorder" from 10/19 to a day ago when I cancelled the whole thing. I don't know how many calls I placed to C.S.and got several different explanations, but no concrete answers. Since I am ordering for X-Mas, I could not wait indefinitely; so I went over to HSN and ordered Beekman there, which always come with free shipping and mostly lower pricing.

I too have been having a lot of problems. seems like items stay "in process" forever mays well say backorder. Had a problem with Vince Camuto boots being shipped and Qvc emailed and said they were having problems but when I tried to cancel order after waiting so long would not allow until I called CS then they weremagically shipped. not shopping QVC so much. Why is it HSN orders ship quickly

I feel the same way lately. I have been a customer for over 30 years. This month has been the worst, and I've just stopped ordering until something changes. I ordered Koolaburga ugg boots for a Christmas gift. They arrived in a plain brown Q box, with no wrapping around the boot. They appeared to just be thrown in loosely. Also, the same week, i received what was to be an Susan Graver top. It was not AS IS. It smells so bad of perfume that I can not get it out. The top is no longer available in my size or any color option. I've washed it in baking soda, white vinegar, and can not get the awful smell out. The Quality is gone from QVC. the name needs to just be C - for convenience. Convenience for them to ship sub-standanrd items as new. I've emailed the Social Team and they jus sugguest returning both items. I guess so they can ship them back out to some other unsuspecting customer. OK my vent is over. I guess I guess I have some boxing up to do. Oh, so I can wait a month for my refund to my Q card.
