Actually many people own them.

I would!!! And I say who would post such a stupid post?!!!! Just because OP has no use or doesn't comprehend the usefulness of such a product doesn't mean she should put down those that have and love it or anyone choosing to buy it!!

I bought it when it first came out and would hate to be without it now! It's a help to me on so many levels! I think the OP was very unkind to post what she did! Shame, shame...now you're on Santa's 'naughty list'!!!

I don't think the presentations of Echo are a joke. From the little I've seen of them, I don't remember the vendor mentioning if you need to be a member of Amazon to take advantage of the things Echo does.

I am not a member of Amazon & don't plan on being one. I am interested in the Echo though. I will need to do some further research.

I just ordered my second one. I love it. I have one in kitchen and new one is going in my bedroom. I also have the tap which I will put in the back bedroom. This stupid thing does a lot more the what they even showed in the presentation.

I ordered mine at midnight and it has already been shipped.
