Spoiler
You are SO right on the different names. I have several SG drape neck tanks, in liquid knit. I love them, they USED to be reasonably priced. NOW they are $10. higher & called "preimer knit. I too am definately taking a break from watching her these days. She is in a frenzy every single time she is on. I can't watch her anymore. As for buying, well the price jump has also put a stop to my buying. TOO MUCH  of Susan!!

Oh my ,YES!! You are reading my mind: SG prices are WAY up!!  And I dont know what
Artisan means, as in the description of some of her items... They are even higher !  But yes, this has been my exact thought, for several months now.. The prices are very high. I have to REALLY love something to pay that price..but i have evidently not fallen in love yet, because I have not purchased any of her items, for a long time.

I buy her items on Ebay now. I have given up asking for longer pants. Her stock online is mostly ankle length and petites. Her regular pants have a 29" inseam....really?

I hope you read this QVC!

Many QVC shoppers complained over and over wanting lower shipping, and more ez pays. We got it, and now this will reflect in the pricing. The ez pays "allow" for higher pricing because "why not" when you can pay it out over time? It has backfired for us in my opinion.

I am most concerned about the inconsistency in sizing. If the product costs more and it costs more to return, SG needs to get the sizing to match the sizing chart.  I have heard from so many that they items that are way too big or too small compared to the sizing chart for that item.  This is also true with Denim & Co., Isaac, Stan Herman and other of their name brands.  I hesitate to order unless I really love the item, because there is always the chance more recently that the sizing is way off and I'll have a $10 loss to return it.  Years back there was never a problem with that. So far I haven't had that problem, but if I do, I will not be happy to pay that $10. Come on QVC, please address this problem and we will buy more of your clothing.

Re: Susan Graver prices

[ Edited ]

I find the prices too high and I do not understand why they have to charge so much with the volume that they sell on air.  Susan has a lot of devoted customers who continue to buy for whatever reason.  I think the people who buy clothing online either do not like to shop in stores, do not have stores nearby, or just like the convenience of having things delivered to their door.  I live in an area with a lot of stores to shop in and I can find much better prices, sales, coupons, etc.  Plus I enjoy shopping and trying on without having to spend money on returns.  I have stopped buying clothing on QVC because of the cost of returns when I can return for free in stores nearby and I can try it on in the store if I am in the mood.  People complain about inconsistent sizing but even in stores I shop in often, even when you try on your size you may not care for how it looks on you or feels.  The only clothing I buy on QVC are Dennis Basso coats which I find the sizing to be mostly consistent.  Also, I know it is off topic but I cannot watch Susan Graver live - her dancing, prancing, talking over the host, and loving everything to death is just too much.  I have to mute when she is on.

They probably see all that LOGO merch going for those prices.

Susan Graver is one of my favorite designers on Q.  Her fashion always fits beautifully and is well made.  I've had pieces for several years and they still look brand new.  Her clothing never pills or loses its shape.  I also don't put any of my clothes in the dryer, either.  So that might help save the fabric.

As for price, as long as the piece fits me well, which they always do, I don't mind paying for nice clothing.

Yes, Graver prices are up but I don't mind paying higher for unique, timeless items: I.e. recent tapestry vest ($60+) with zip and tassel. However, my biggest bug is that individual sizing for items don't stay up on screen longer, and are missing on video online purchasing. Shoppers don't need to hear how tall models are 5.8>. Shoppers need busy sizing for tops, sweaters, coats. The QVC online charts not helpful between designers. My returns over 22 years has gone up.
