I have always said that I am OK with a higher priced item as long as it fits and wears well . I have limited my Susan Graver purchases due to fit issues. They have not always been consistent. I don't feel I should have to ship back and forth 2 or 3 times to find a correct fit.

 

QVC has slipped on that issue, and not just with Susan Graver clothing.

You are right about Logo. It's ridiculously priced. But Susan Graver was always at the high end of "middle" price points....and it she's really gone up in the past few months. I'm disappointed.

I agree with those that say SG price increases are wayyyy out of line. Her line doesn't warrent that kind of increase.I could see it if the quality was there, but it isn't. Quality has gone down, down, down. The majority of her clothes are made outside the US. Her sizing is not consistant as mentioned. And her prints are just ugly. Have only purchased a plain pair of white pants from her line this year That will most likely be the only purchase I make. I can get better quality at better prices in B&M stores and on HSN.

She's selling a poly tank this am. @ $44. That's so out of line.

I saw that and shared on here that I had ordered from tshirts from JCrew for way way less. I think they were in the end about $8-10 each, for a tshirt. IMO her quality does not justify the price difference. JCrew has good quality. I also believe that it's not just the SG brand at the Q that is over priced, and I know the Q owns her brand so they set the prices I'm sure.

Well, @Spurt, they offer something retail won't: you can purchase and wear, use, their product for 30 days and return with no questions asked.

The letters won't allow abuse, but they have to suffer a huge loss with this benefit.

Well QVC is the only one with a "try me fee" you dont get your original postage back and also have to pay to return it back to QVC too (a lot of online retailers offer free returns ---  at least the ones I shop with).........

 

And as far as abuse one of my relative was a store manager, then she became a district manager and buyer for a retail clothing chain.  When she was a store manager she always knew that there would be a lot of returns on fancy clothing AFTER the prom, AFTER the Christmas and New Year's Eve party season, and AFTER those June graduations and weddings.....So I guess its one of the pitfalls of the retail industry.....and the stores that have strict policies on returns make the customers mad and they'll shop elsewhere.......so my relative told me the top Execs just said to go ahead and accept the returns....and you knew they warn them by the makeup around the collar or some even had food or beverage stains and the store employees had to just smile and take them back....but in the end ALL the customers that shopped in the store (and online) actually end up subsidizing those folks! Woman Frustrated

I have purchase Calvin Klein,Michael Kors, Vince Camuto and other designer  clothing @ TJmaxx, Ross, NM last call and I  have never paid more than $30.00 dollars for clothing. Coach/ Calvin Klein, Clarks shoes for under $60.00@ TJmaxx. Macys a little more, but no shipping no hassle waiting on delivery. I have posted posts before. Online shopping at your local B/M is a plus, in stock items ships faster. While I like Jai and Bixby jewelry I can order from  my local Nerman Marcus last call for John Hardy as for Bixby  that another story. There are other options, stop spending your money on items you feel are over price.

It happens, @Spurt, but not many retail will accept worn shoes and used up make-up and obviously worn clothing.

There's a "peace of mind" that we of course pay for at the Q. And you're right: we all pay for it. Including all the abuse. However, it's a benefit that means a lot when you shop on-line. I imagine it means a great deal to many, even a higher price.
