Thought I would share this.  He was from the good old days.

Sorry to hear of his passing. I always enjoyed watching him on air.

He was one of my mother's favorite hosts.  I found it interesting that he was a Biology teacher prior to joining the Q.

That is so sad.  I liked him alot.  It seemed like you knew him forever when he was on.  I remember Steve was the one who told us about the "new" easy pay.  I also remember him dressing up as a lion for Halloween and said he couldnt wait to get out of it.  Great memories!

Steve was my favorite. To this day he still is.

That's sad news.  He was a great host. QVC should look at him and many of the hosts from that time and use them as examples for today's unwatchable and hard to listen to  hosts.

I started watching the Q in Jan 1995, and have no recollection of him, he must have left prior to 1995.

Looking at some of my pieces I think os him.

One in particular is the apricot seed (pit) ring.

I purchased my first item from Steve. It was a set of two Santa Clause figurines that I still have. RIP.
