@proudlyfromNJ Many would think that people would be out and proud in 2024- but a lot of actors, actresses, pro athletes and singers are encouraged by management to enter into contractual straight marriages/relationships to keep up a facade of straightness for fans. A lot of non-celebrity regular people are still in the closet too.
Closeted men tend to end up in strained relationships or marriages that aren't fair to their wives/girlfriends or themselves. I think life is too short for people to live a lie. I wish TJ well, but he might have deeper unadressed reasons to his celibacy and hands-off policy in dating women. Regardless of potential closeted sexuality or not, I just think that TJ is too uptight, rude and immature for Stacy.

They both agreed to do what was scripted and I must say that I am surprised that they agreed to it. Were they that desperate to join the show so they would agree to doing anything? It's so strange. I would never let a man treat me the way you say TJ treats Stacey whether it's real or not, and I think most people believe it's all scripted.
I believe they are friends and once the filming is over they are laughing and having a great time and apologizing to each other. "Did we really say and do those things".
This is fun and thanks for the updates.
I agree with you about the show being scripted. Stacey and TJ do not have any chemistry at all. They look more like brother and sister. It was funny when TJ said that they went to a zoo. All the other "wives" found it funny.

@lgfan They are all laughing at us behind the scenes. I think more than half the content on all of The Real Housewvies franchises is scripted. I am shocked that they have all lasted as long as they have, but then again look at how long tabloids have survived. The world needs, eat, breathes and lives for gossip!

There was a series a few years ago about the behind the scenes activities of reality shows. The series showed how the shows were fabricated. The series didn't last too long. It was soon pulled from rotation. I guess it was hitting too close to home for some television stations.

@lgfan YES, I remember that exact series and BINGO it hit too close to home and was exposing their secrets! Speaking of T.J. in this thread, many of us seem to feel that he might be hiding his true feelings and makeup.
Don't you also wish a couple of others at QVC would also just OWN it and be proud of it and I am sure most of you know who I am speaking of? I have so much respect for newbie Rachel Ellis for doing so and wish a few others would also do the same. NO shame in the game, but I mean just STOP hiding it already, as it's almost 2025!

I understand what you are saying but unfortunately there is still discrimination regarding the LGBTQ community. TJ is a devout Christian and certain religions still frown upon the gay community. I don't want to turn this thread political but there have been cases that have been upheld by the Supreme Court for businesses who refuse to service the gay community due to religious beliefs.

What happened on last night's episode ~
Stacey and TJ were in Stacey's apt described on the show as her "crash pad" in DC. TJ made her a Boboli pizza and attempted to speak in an Italian accent and wore a satin bonnet on his head saying it was his chef's hat. It was
very cringe.
He then proceeded to say that at the party they had gone to, it had been stressful for him because she had left his side and "didn't check in" with him.
They showed this clip from the party -
TJ: "You came to a party hanging out with everybody but me."
Stacey: "I didn't see you. I'm sorry."
TJ: "Get it together, man. I'm warning you."
Stacey apologized and said it won't happen again.
Stacey is in mediation with her divorce and TJ asked if she is going to hire a forensic accountant and she said no.
Then Stacey asked what he would think if she saw other men. He said he wouldn't close himself off to other options himself. Stacey said a part of her wished he would say he would melt into a puddle of tears if he saw her with someone else.
TJ: "I didn't say that it wouldn't bother me. Sweetie, if I really love and care about you, then I want you to be good for you and then you see me for who I am."
Stacey: "So you want me to choose you."
TJ: "I would like you to but you don't have to."
Stacey clenched her lips.
Even if this is all scripted, the bottom line is the two of them are painful to watch together. They are still not comfortable with each other and are very awkward together.

@lgfan Was it a TV show called "Unreal"? That was a great show!

@Saffron1 Excellent synopsis of TJ and Stacy's interractions in the episode 🙌😁! They lack chemistry and I want her to snap out of it. I really can't believe how lazy, cheap and childlike his lunch for Stacy was: radioactive green kids fruit drinks. A pizza made out of cheap Boboli prepackaged dough, cheese, zero sauce and cheap mini tomatoes 😖😮. No side dishes. Stacy looks like a beautiful Miss America contestant and this is what he makes her?!? Runnnnnn Stacy! 😄😮!
He could've ordered pizza or lunch and had it delivered and that would've shown more thought and effort than what he did. Stacy wanted him to fight for her when she asked if she could date other guys and he wasn't put off or even jealous. He was so catty about her being in a different area of Wendy's party- was she in a giant corn maze and he couldn't find her?🤨 Was he tethered to a pole with a leash 🤔? He knew where she was and he coud've found her. He's such a drama queen about it all.
