Jane's been on where she's obviously ill and almost no voice to talk, but that did not stop her in not giving the Reps time to speak.
@skatting44 I bet she threw in a few daughter references as well.

@Dennieee Because whatever she is wearing is going to be sold - either as new or "as is."

@Etoile308 So, youre going to tell me that you've never done this when there was no other option like having a tissue, and you had to do something? If the answer is yes, I would not believe you. Because I will admit that I have, and I am sure many others have to. Whether they admit it or not. The point is, it's not a big deal, and until we walk in someone else's shoes for a day, we should not judge them for it.

Seem to me some want to justify bad behavior. A bad pattern of behavior...not a one off. When one knows they are prone to requiring tissues you keep one with you. When you are on display and televised for all to see, one would think an employer would stress the importance of the optics.
Unfortunately it seems QVC has given up striving for professionalism in lieu of entertainment, quirkiness or appeasing the cult of a host.
To downplay the spread of germs as not a big deal does a disservice to those with health concerns or compromised immune systems. Have some learned nothing from 2020?
I learned as a very, very young child to use a tissue when I needed to blow my nose, had a dripping nose, or for post sneeze.
I'm not without tissues especially during a cold or allergies. Tissues are beside me, or in my purse, in my pocket, up my sleeve, or tucked in my bra.
No, I don't remember using the back of my hand. I will admit to sneezing into the crook of my elbow. And anytime I have I've washed as soon as possible.

Well said. There is no excuse for Shawn's behavior. Like you, I was taught this in childhood.

Well, QVC Hosts make all this hoopla abt pockets in clothing , why don't they just have a tissue box on set . Or if there's a dust problem maybe they could just vacum the dust . Any way you look at it , Hosts that rub or wipe their noses on air need to learn what we teach our children- use a tissue !

Soooo no drugs are not the answer people. 🥴
I have a LOT of friends who have severe seasonal allergies. The medication they take DOES work. Maybe you should ask your DOCTOR for recommendations.
