Re: Sound off: Your Thoughts on Christmas Shows?

I don't know why they don't throw all their Christmas junk on QVC3 for people to watch 24/7/365 until their eyes glaze over.

Total waste of time for me. I would never purchase anthing this far ahead for Christmas.

I don't understand why folks get so bothered by shows they claim they don't watch.

@DJs mom   That is curious. And none of the holiday shows  are on 24 hours 7 days a week. I suspect that the actual air time given to the Christmas and harvest shows is no where near what is given to showing fashion, shoes and  make up.

I have been with QVC since day 1 and I watch it every day. But WHY do you need to have Christmas in JUNE, JULY, August, September,? Years ago QVC had one weekend in July and that was OK. Honestly I now turn the channel when Christmas comes on over and over.

I know it is supposedly a money maker but honestly I am sick of all of it now and it is only the beginning of September.

After having a gift shop for years..I will never need anything else..I've been giving a lot away..

The Christmas shows all look like junk..I rarely tune in to any program..I might stop by while channel surfing..never stay more than 10 minutes.

@mmm12   I completely agree.  Can't take these Christmas shows.  I watch something that I recorded.

Honestly, I think that applies to most things in life and, for me, I don't mind the Christmas shows mingled in with all the other shows.  Everyone's likes are not the same, and to be agreeable shows consideration for others.

@ Ciao_Bella   Precisely. With the multiple QVC channels, folks ought to be able to find something that interests them. I don't want any of the clothing shows, make up/shampoo/hand or body cream...and it doesn't bother me that they're on.

@They Call Me MR Wilkes  Yes thanks, and I am looking forward to those shows especially Rick's 30th anniversary. I believe Valerie will be there too.
