I believe QVC has a certain number limit on the introductionary price or sale price. For example, last night I wanted to order the G.I.L.I. Sweater Cape in ivory in a medium and it was sold out. All the sizes were sold out then today, many of the sizes are available at a different price.
I think just to make money businesses have to stop at a certain point. That is why if I want something even if I have to put it on check order I do to reserve the item.I often put things on check order them come back and switch it to a credit card order.

@Happiness Is Inside JOB, I happened to tune into the very end of PM Style last night b/c I wanted to see what the TSV was for today. I saw when Shawn said the GILI cape sold out along with the "sold out" sign on the graphic. I had my phone and was on the Q app and checked "items recently on air" and that cape was available. It was not sold out at midnight.

Interesting, cause I tried to order at around 12:15 am and I placed the order then at the very end the computer showed a message that the item was completely SOLD OUT. In any event i was able to order today so I got one in cream and one in black. But of course, I did CHECK ORDER, cause I want to READ the REVIEWS.

I have several ideas why they do this silly thing...some of the same already listed. All were sold out until the 'price went up' the next day and then many reappeared... I personally don't like that game nor have the patience for it. SELL THEM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD....phewww, rant over.... ![]()

I think it has more to do with shoppers changing their mind and not completing purchases or cancelling after the presentation. With orders locking down quickly these days, my guess is there will be fewer popping up available.
