Re: So bored with QVC and boring, repetitive selections........

I can tell you I would absolutely hate to be without my Kuhn Rikon chopper scissor things they sell in sets!  I used mine today to chop my way into a new toothbrush head.  I wouldn't have made it without those!

WOW even Mary Beth has seen the light....she was presenting cuddl duds and she admitted on air about the BLACK FRIDAY SALE PRICE, "I know that there's a savings of only $5..." BUT she quickly recovered and went into "sales mode" by adding....but the Easy Pay is $5.50 .......

@Spurt  Don't you wonder how they can stand to sell the same stuff year after year????  Easy pay is going to get a lot of folks in trouble.

The Christmas junk shows are still better than January programming where it's endless shilling of exercise equipment that will be at the yard sales in summer, and diet foods.

Q's programming has been like this for a long time....same 12 things, or variations of, over and over and over.  It's why I don't watch much anymore. Many people could recite the spheels themselves because they've been heard so often.

Re: So bored with QVC and boring, repetitive selections........

As I was reviewing my receipts of items purchased in November and so far this month that are for gifts I noticed that there are far fewer from QVC and HSN than in past years.  So far this season I have purchased only a Ninja air fryer, and the Primula Tumblers.  I bought two sets of the tumblers they are the best keep it hot or cold tumblers I have ever used so I feel confident giving them as a gift.  I think it's a nice gift for those you just want to remember, yet keep the cost of the gift under $20.

In the past I used to sometimes see beauty sets which inspired me to do a from me to me gift.  Nothing like that this year and they've been Christmas sine September.

I very rarely post but I’ve got to join in on this one. There are some specific products I buy from QVC. It’s terribly irritating for them to say “only order of the year” for seasonal products during Christmas in July. I really like Philosophy products but there are very few Christmas scents left to buy in Nov because they sold out in JULY!

That is when I go to Amazon....

In my news feed an adv. pops up with products from HSN.

I spotted a leave-in hair detangler from Carols Daughter.

So I clicked, paid $15 total (w/S-H) .

The next day, out of curiosity, I looked on Amazon to see if they carried the

Carols Daughter line.

Sure enough, there’s my spray...for a TOTAL OF $10!

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.........my fault, though.

For some reason I ass-umed that since CD line was introduced in HSN, that

their prices would be *special*..

NOT.

I tried to cancel, as it was “packaging”, but couldn’t.

I looked at HSN return policy and was shocked that

anything under 5lbs. uses a return label and charges $7.95!!

I could return it on my own and save a couple bucks, but I’m just going to

bite the bullet and chalk it up to LESSON LEARNED!

My goodness! Who is forcing you all to sit and watch tv all day? Of course it'll get repetitive and boring! Get out and take a walk! Get out and go to a I STORE to shop! How about that concept? There is nothing like walking into a real live store, especially during Christmas time! I live rural now and the only big named stores we have are an hour away. Do I only do online shopping? Um NO. I get in the car and spend the day shopping, going to lunch, making a day of it! You only live once, enjoy!

For Pete's Sake!  Get yourself a hobby!  Collect stamps or shrunken heads or something.  Don't you know this by now?
