I know--like just because you can flap a sheet makes anyone think what a life changer it will be----kind of like squishing all the food products on the gourmet food shows or sudsing up a mountain of lather on the philosophy shows---dumb!!!

For me, I get an idea how thick or thin the sheets are. I can't always find sheets I like because of the materials they are using.

@THEY CallMe Mr Wilkes. Is there anything about which someone won't complain?
Perhaps the OP could write a scenario for demonstrating the airiness of bed linens

To me, complaints regarding not enough product info, etc. are more valid than the petty complaints about hosts. Those can get ridiculous IMO. I remember someone posting a thread complaining because Shawn cleared her throat during a show. Crazy!

@Kachina624 If you look at the Saturday Night Q show last night, there was a presentation of the Home Reflections Rayon from Bamboo Sheet Set. At around the 2 minute mark, the vendor started waving the sheets. I went back to look and counted at least 20 flaps in a 1 minute period, including in closeups, which almost made me seasick (I'm joking, of course). Anyway, that's a scenario for NOT demonstrating the airiness. And they did it excessively several more times. As I said in my original post, certainly some waving is helpful and doing that a few times during the presentation would be fine.

Brace yourself, because they flap clothing around also.
For example, liquid knit by Susan Graver and many others... ![]()

@mb141312. You're right, that would be annoying. I saw the first part where she was rippling the sheets on the bed. I thought that's the effect of which you were speaking. I changed the channel.

@mb141312 Right! I never could figure out what I was supposed to learn from the flapping. Was the sheet letting the air through or not letting the air through? I've even tried it on my own sheets when making the beds, and I still didn't get it! Hahahah! ![]()

Yes, when I see them flapping, I'm reminded of clean white bedsheets, on the clothesline, flapping in the breeze. Maybe that's the image they're trying to conjure. ![]()

@Kachina624 there are things in life to get annoyed over but hosts flapping sheets or hosts bending shoes is not high on my list. I guess some people just have a lower tolerance than others.
