I too am having problems with slow shipping.  I just called about an order that has no tracking information from one week ago.  I was told to call back on October 1.  I told the rep I will quit buying from QVC if the shipping speed does not get better.  They charge us the day it is shipped and have our money but we don't have the item.  I also read where they played off 147 employees.  Maybe they could put those employees in a shipping department to help speed up shipping speeds.  Until shipping is improved I will order from HSN, Amazon and Evine where Lisa Robertson now works.  And by the way, the rep hung up on me.

Well their slow processing & shipping is helping me!  After 4 days I decided I really didn't need what I ordered so I canceled 3 orders!  First time I have ever done that. But because I had time to think about it I realized I didn't need it so saved me some money!  Good for me!!

Shipping is so slow that I normally check Amazon to see if they carry the same product (not clothes).  Never buy books from QVC always get them on Amazon.  I do belong to prime so I realized that I am paying for faster shipping, but I also have a Kindle and enjoy the benefits of fast shipping.  I live in the Midwest and know that when I order something it is going to take 2 to 3 weeks to get it.

Which makes me wonder why QVC has not com up with their own version of "prime".  Would you pay an annual fee to have free - 2 day shipping from QVC?

What I have noticed is items sit for a much longer time before they are even shipped.

Unless of course you want to cancel an order then they send it right out.

well as I posted in another thread, I ordered an item on September 24.  it is still "in process" 5 days after the order was placed.

and then I'll have to wait 5 to 10 days for it to arrive.  I can order from Amazon and have things in 2 days.  QVC can't even ship in that amount of time.

I think the fast shipping from HSN also depends on where you live on conjunction to their warehouses. I am in Southern California, where they do have a warehouse.   I often receive packages quickly. I once remember saying jokingly, are they located next door to me?

I see I'm not alone in my frustration. I ordered one bracelet on September 21 and on Saturday the 26th it was still on process. I contacted customer service twice about it. Out of frustration I cancelled that order and reordered it again. I thought it was a computer glitch or something. Well my reorder is in process again for its third day. Here we go again!  Really?! A clothing item placed on 9/24 shipped out on the 9/26 while the bracelet was still in process. Very annoying to say the least.

Well today is the 5th day my reordered bracelet is still in process. (cancelled the previous one because it too was stuck in process for 5 days). It's scheduled to arrive on Monday.  I don't know about that.  I wonder what's going on?

I read on Linkedin that QVC last week broke ground on their new warehouse in SoCal. They're hiring. Didn't say when it would be operational, but betting not long. In time for the holidays? Probably too optimistic on that one. Hopefully this will speed up West Coast deliveries. When I live in NYC, I'd get packages within days of order; now it's 10 days at a minimum.

Lisa Robertson works at Evine now? Where did you see this?
