I was watching when they presented Philosophy's new Amazing Grace Bergamot and thought it was the most ridiculous presentation ever.  They had Deanna sitting there spraying it all over her over and over.  We can't smell it so why bother just describe the notes and be done with it.

Re: Silly Perfume Presentations

Maybe because I’m scent sensitive but any time they show perfume presentations I wonder at them. Perfumes are very triggering for allergies and headaches.

How can you pile on that much and not choke? Then you have to smell like that the rest of your day??

I’ve wondered if it’s just water in the spritzers before.

Re: Silly Perfume Presentations

It's no worse than the endless Philosophy presentations with bowls of soap suds.  My eyes gaze over when the product is mentioned.

Since Smell-A-Vision is not yet available, maybe she is actually spaying water?    🤔

Unless you're already familiar with the scent, I do not understand how anyone can purchase perfume from TV without trying it???

@Pecky Maybe because it is like my Amazing Grace (which I love.)  I spray it on, and moments later, I can not smell it anymore!

@Puppy Lips   Same with Pure Grace.  It used to be my favorite but the scent has changed and just doesn't last .

Re: Silly Perfume Presentations

One would think (me) that it's not the healthiest thing to do..........spraying and spraying into one's breathing area.

Not meant to be 'mean', but it is a bit much.

However, it could be that there's hopefully water in the bottle, for these presentations.

I've often thought that we should be able to pre-order samples of popular and upcoming new fragrances.

You know, the samples that are flat, and come in a sealed foil wrap.  Easy and inexpensive to ship out, etc.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
