there is too much emphasis on entertaining over giving the details buyers need

I rarely watch and the comments here remind me why I don't. If QVC's profits are down 16% as someone has mentioned, they are in trouble. I stand by my estimate that in 5 years all the shopping channels will be obsolete unless they drastically change their way of selling.
Personally, I think they should become an online retailer and forget the hosts, expensive sets, vendors, etc. etc.

I rarely watch. But when I do I want information about the product. Perhaps if they had more items to sell per hour they would not have time for endless personal chatter.

for every whine about the fun and adding big ole threat about q losing a sale (lol).......
theres many more enjoying the fun and buying.........more like fun than do not like fun
so them going to snoozefest presentations for the anti fun makes no sense.

@kaydee50 I'll never understand how they hope to compete with online sites and B&M offering free shipping and free returns, as much as 40% off and I receive my order in 3-4 days.
Even Q's clearance prices are not a big enough deal IMO.

I enjoy their shows! Truth, I never watch any entire show...but I am a clicker.
Refuse to watch commercials, so I click to Q to see what the item is.
Amy gives all the info I need all the time. They seem to have a close working friendship, what's wrong with that?
And as @Kachina624 said...at least it AIN'T Disney.
I hope they are receiving a stipend for all the FREE advertising given!
