These earrings are definitely available everywhere these days.  I ran into Dollar General yesterday and saw a turquoise set.

I liked them on Shawn but I bet she doesn't wear them around Jagger.  Babies and Cats would love to yank or bat at them I think!

I was in the Dollar Store last week for gift bags for Father's Day (Hallmark closed) and low and behold there were dozens of earrings on display identical to the pair Carolyn had on this morning.

There was a teen trying them on. Cute on her. I would be embarassed to show up wearing them anywhere.

Wear long, heavy earrings for a long enough period of time, and your EARLOBES will become shoulder dusters!

I like a longer earring as long as they're made well and delicately designed.
The tassel earrings are a big no for me.  One tug and I'm expecting the butler to show up with, "You rang?"

Blanketed statement not necessarily true for all people.  I wore them for YEARS and years back in the day and my lobes are not stretched out one iota. 

Just because they are long does not mean they are heavy.  I have some stud earrings that pull my lobes down more than any chandelier earrings ever did.

I see them sold AND worn everywhere.  QVC is going to sell what is one trend and these are, for now anyways.

Fashion is all about having fun with what you like to wear.

       LOL!!!  The really big ones - tassels, balls, etc - look like part of a costume to me.  I would not wear, but others do...

Earrings are my favorite items of jewelry, yet this latest FAD is definiitely a HECK NO for me!!!!

Gee let's see we have the bell sleeves and pants from the 60's/70's, coulottes/gacho pants also from the 70's, and now HUGE earrings 80's style.....everything old is new again!
