Should HSN drop Jessica Simpson?

What the hell was she on Thursday night? Was she drunk or on drugs? I felt so bad for Colleen Lopez she's my favorite on HSN just wonderfully classy. A fantastic host and she looked very uncomfortable around Jessica. Isn't coming on air high or drunk against HSN company policy? They shouldn't tolerate that at all.

The parts that I saw, (I was channel surfing, back and forth), she kept disappearing, and then returning, several times.  But, her items seemed to be selling.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Re: Should HSN drop Jessica Simpson?

I heard an entertainment commentor (no idea what show) comment on that HSN appearance.  He wasn't sure she was drunk or high -  that's really disconcerting, given the clips they showed.

As for why HSN tolerates her --  seems her line has sold a billion dollars worth.  Besides HSN, where would those sales be or did he mean a billion on HSN?

Re: Should HSN drop Jessica Simpson?

My guess ...if her products sell well HSN might overlook her "problem"....unless she passes out on camera...

I didn't see her live...only one of the videos...and it was a disgusting display....

Our local News even talked about her ...as did TMZ....

$$ talks, so they won't do anything as long as the money rolls in.

Re: Should HSN drop Jessica Simpson?

I just watched one of the videos, and I'm pretty sure she was under the influence of something.  I wouldn't speculate what it was she was on, because some legitimate medications can have that kind of effect.  Regardless, it was uncomfortable to watch.  The collection sold out, and the network got plenty of attention this week.  I'm sure she'll be back.

I personally do not think she was drunk or high. Have you ever watched her (long time cancelled show) newyleds back on MTV? She sometimes acted in a simliar manner... she just acts ditzy. I do think if anything she may have been on a legit medical drug, like xanaxx, which can cause these loopy side effects. That is what is seemed like to me.  Also, today the HSN president released a statement saying she was a total professional and it was a pleasure working with her lol

Then the HSN president must be on the same thing she's on, lol.

Just read an article online from US Weekly that was written by the Pres. of HSN in total defense of her, saying how she was thrilled to be there and they were thrilled ot have her.
