Where is this line made? Does anyone know? I don't think its made here? Also why do the vendor's who work for the company wear those scarves on their heads??? I've always wondered about that! I'm surprised the Q doesn't have Carolyn Pollack on this weekend. She usually does all the holidays.

Re: ShopLC Santa Fe Style

[ Edited ]

Good question, I have many pieces for that line.  My first jewelry purchases from ShopLC were from the Santa Fe line.  I've been collecting turquoise since my college years.  They always give the materials which are genuine and they always say the styles are "inspired" from authentic Native American or Sante Fe or Southwest styles.  They say everything is handmade.    They stop short of saying that the pieces are made in America or made in the Southwest.  The quality is incredible, the prices are unbelievable.  So, I don't really care where the items are made.  I care about the source of the gemstones and silver content and the styles but not where it's all asembled.  I suspect India.

Correction:  Watching the show now.  The Santa Fe line is all made in Albuquerque.  The company has been making Southwestern jewelry for decades.  They sale wholsale and through ShopLC.

@catnappurr   I prefer to support our Native American craftsmen here in America rather than copycats in China or some other foreign Country.
