Shop With Confidence - What a Joke!

I ordered a gift from QVC to be shipped directly to my sister on 12/11. The order status showed "Internal Activity" until today. Today it shows that it arrived two states away yesterday and today was transferred to USPS and to allow one extra day for delivery. I'm sure that QVC did everything they could to get it shipped out of their hands ASAP, but the reality is that they have no control over what happens once the shipper, UPS or USPS, takes over. I really wish the Q would be a little more realistic in their claims regarding arrival in time for Christmas.
