Shipping out 13 days?

I placed an order yesterday and one today.  I just noticed projected delivery is July 6.  I'll wait but is everyone on vacation or what?

July 4th is on a Tuesday this year.  Many busineses will be closed Monday July 3rd as well as Tuesday the 4th. 

 

Depending on your location, most folks will milk July 4th into a 4 day holiday, Saturday July 1st - Tuesday July 4th.

They often over-estimate the delivery time initially, then reduce it later.

I worked as a temp sorter at the post office many years ago.  We worked the holidays but it was a skeleton crew.  How could I forget that?
