I ordered shoes from QVC on October 29. Today I received an email that they shipped and I should receive them by November 9. Why would it take 5 days for QVC, which does nothing but mail/online shopping, to ship these out? I checked Zappos for the same shoes but they did not stock them. If they had I would have the shoes by now.

I have said this before. I think "In Process" time has more to do with specific warehouse. There are some warehouses that are more efficient. For example I generally receive items from Harrisburg PA warehouse quickly. I live in Chicago and I am sometimes shocked how fast it arrives.

I am also frustrated with the slow shipping, it never used to be this slow. I ordered two items on October 30th. It is now November 4th and they are still "in process." Another example, I ordered two tops in different colors at the same time on October 31st -- one shipped yesterday and the other is still "in process." I travel quite a bit so I like to rely on shipping dates so as not to have packages laying on my front porch.

It's about the same for me. I've had things ship from 4 hours to over a week. A week to 10 days to get here after shipping. It takes 2 days longer when they transfer to USP. When I had a choice I always picked UPS delivery.
Over the years I've learned never to buy anything I need now. I assume drop shipping is a big part of the issue. Not everything comes from the same place.

I've noticed things can sit in processing longer and I also noticed they are shipping items in the same package. Maybe they wait and hold an order so that they can ship everything in one package. Kind of stinks though if they are charging shipping individually on each item.

I'm a Charter member of QVC and I'll have to agree that something is going on now and I'm not too happy about it either. Here's a list of things I'm unhappy about....
#1 I ordered the Canon PowerShot camera last month that was the TSV and never received the Color Pro Pac software that was supposed to come with the camera but shipped separately. So I emailed customer service and they said they will ship me out a new one immediately. That was over 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting.
#2 I ordered the Hampton Popcorn and it never came so I emailed customer service and it was so obvious they had never shipped it because in a less than a week, wa-la, it was delivered (almost 3 weeks after I had ordered it).
#3 In September I had ordered some Lock n Lock containers and one of the bowls' lid had 1 of the 4 tabs broken off. I tried calling L&L but kept getting a recording that they were busy and to leave my number for a callback. So I called QVC customer service and explained to them about the broken lid tab and the lady asked me what size bowl was it and what lid color. I told her and she said, "We'll send you a replacement lid right away". I'm still waiting.
I had ordered some Harry London chocolates in Christmas containers to be delivered in November but when I read the comments about how bad the chocolate tasted, I went ahead and cancelled my 2 orders. Too expensive anyways.
Everyone is right, it is taking days to "Process" an order and then having to wait and wait for the item to arrive just adds to my questioning if I need to order as much as I do. I guess not because I've not even been watching QVC at all for days now.

It's not just Q. I always look for things that are Prime when I shop on Amazon, they ship pretty fast. HSN is the same. I'm still waiting for an order I made on the 1st to ship.

I came here and bragged about my deliveries being very timely, but now I can complain about the return shipping. It's ridiculous. Dumb me ordered a pair of Isaac shoes that were absolutely awful in person and didn't even begin to fit properly. As if that wasn't annoying enough, now it appears the return will take forever to process. Tired of trying to keep track of it.

I order dog food from Chewy.com and in 24 hours with no shipping charges it is in my driveway!

In fairness to QVC I have edited my comment to say that I received in today's mail the $50 voucher for the camera's Corel Paintshop Pro software.
