Just tuned in at lunch to QVC to see what’s on and Terri C. mentioned a drill they’re doing, instead of Live programming.



Such a scary thought !! 😳



Does anyone know if they’ve done this before ? ?

Being a primetime watcher I’ve never heard of this kind of drill.

I must've missed it, but I guess it's not surprising given what's happening in the world right now.

They must of had some sort of threat for them to do this.  They are showing the show from midnight with Jane now.

It is no different back in school and having drills for nuclear bombs (get under your desk)  or fire drills.  Not to mention tornadoes.

I've never seen or heard this done before live on air.  I was watching QVC 2 with Leah and she said the same thing.  On that channel they're playing a Logo repeat recording for an hour, and Leah will be back at 1:00pm Live on air.

They have hours that they are already doing repeat recordings on both channels, Couldn't they have scheduled this drill during that time?  Very strange.

I spoke to customer service. It's just a drill. No threats or bad weather.

I'm not far from the QVC studios.  We were supposed to have severe storms last night (if we did, I slept through them).  It's been raining all day, but nothing scary or hurricane like.  

I don't know.  I guess they are just preparing for any severe weather that could come some time.
