I do not usually make a stink about this but I am now. Legacy leggings were just on. During the presentation, shawn decided she needed to buy a pair, she wanted the animal print and she asked someone there to purchase a pair for her in small. The answer she got from who she was asking did not seem to answer her clearly as confusion erupted until it was clear to her that they were available and he would place the order for her. This is so unprofessional....they should be aware of their line up before they come on air to present. Buy your stuff ahead of time or wait until the customers are done doing their shopping. I do not know why it got to me tonite but finally ....it has. It just happened about 10 or 15 minutes ago. QVC...heads up....not professional.

I've read many times that when the host wants to order something, it's just another sales tactic.

Did you see the legacy rep. looking in the waist band of the pair she
had on to check the size ?? I thought .. yikes .. that's a little too close
for comfort !!!

Do you really believe the hosts would trust a casual co-worker with their Q pin number and/or credit card info? It's all just a sales ploy and a distasteful one at that. Animal print probably wasn't moving and they had a bunch so they wanted to speed things up. Agreed, it does give the customer a bad feeling.

I agree, it's a sales tactic. If not, they've been told to go ahead and order on air because those that love the host will probably want to buy what she buys....
One of the biggest offenders to use this tactic was Lisa Robertson. Yes, I do think it's unprofessional

It's never been a problem in the past. I don't know why the producer wouldn't just let her know if it was available or not. I don't have a problem with the hosts ordering.
As far as the comment about her staying at home ... her choice an no one's business. I'm sure the baby is well taken care of by Joe.

I see so many posts about Shawn's parenting decisions and choices. That's her private business. No one here is privy to her financial situation or her decisions made in her family with her husband. Nor should they be.
I do have to wonder if anyone would question a young male host going back to work after baby.
Her behavior on air has nothing to do with being back to work after baby, but it's still brought up every time.

Many of the hosts have done this during the shows for quite some time. Years ago I think I remember the hosts saying they could not place personal purchases until after the products had been presented and they were off the air. Customers used to come first. My memory may be wrong but I don't think so.

Shawn says she has to work, she said so on air, so that settles that. Shawn can do what she wants, she is the top seller or they would not put up with her antics. I enjoy Shawn, but can only take so much of her with the sound on the telly.
