I don't think this is true.  The reason I say that is within the last couple of weeks, a vendor was on I believe one of the morning fashion shows.  The host thanked her for being there and the vendor said something about how excited she was when she received the letter from QVC inviting her to appear that day.

I think they have done this in the past and backed off, but I wouldn't rule out their doing it again. I remember a couple of times, but don't remember what it was for QVC. I know than HSN did it. Automobiles, cruises/cruise lines and I can't remember what else, but it has been done. I haven't seen either channel do it for a couple of years as far as I can remember, so for whatever reason it must not have been as profitable as the channels thought it would be.

Not dooBdoo here, @pattypeep, but I can help you at least with italics and bold (I'm not a big fan of colors or other fonts, no offense intended:-)).

So right before your sig, put < i > and/or < b >. Put don't use spaces between the brackets and the letters.

Then after you sig, put < /i > and/or < /i >. Again, don't use spaces. And of course, my "and/or" is NOT part of the code.

I use both, so mine is italicized and bolded. I think it's a very good idea to differentiate your sig from your comment.

Let me know whether that works for you. :-)

I agree.  This is their job. One nice thing about remotes, you can change the channel.  I like her glasses.  Not everyone can pull it off.  She does

Why is it we know all these wonderful things she does for her family? I guess all of the other many hosts are so lucky they have no trials and tribulations in their lives?

I find there are very few who escape through life w/o having to go through the hardships of family and loved ones' failings. It's life, and all the other hosts you don't know about, do their job, and quietly suffer through the tribulations.

Interesting! I received a package yesterday from QVC (lightscape flameless candles on clearance...love them!) and inside the box was an ad for hearing aids from a different company.

SORRY, BUT I CAN"T TOLERATE SHAWN FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME. HER SILLY TALK AND JUMPING AROUND IS SO CRAZY!  HER HAIR AND THOSE HORRIBLE GLASSES SHE WEARS REALLY KILL ME! SHE NEEDS A NEW HAIR STYLE AND A BETTER MORE SUITABLE COLOR FOR HER . THE NIGHT TIME SHOW WENT DOWN HILL FAST WHEN THEY TURNED IT OVER TO HER. SHE IS CERTAINLY NO LISA ROBERTSON!!
