I don't know whether Shawn has extensions or not, but it is easy to go from hair that looks like Shawn's in the picture posted by @San Antonio Gal and straight hair.
Unfortunately, if I let my hair air dry, it looks like Shawn's hair in that picture, except thankfully I don't have the breakage or split ends shown there.
There is no need for extensions to go from that hair to straight hair.
I can get my naturally gnarly hair (it has looked like that since fifth grade, not due to color) to perfectly smooth
- with a professional blow out or other professional style,
- when I style it myself with hot tools in dry weather, or with the Calista TrianglPro in all weather (I am not that skilled with other tools), or
- with a keratin like treatment.
No need for extensions or the products you are promoting.
Taking care of my hair with good products, now including certain supplements (not all have the same effect), does help my hair.

It depends on your hair texture. I think if your hair is basically straight but gets a bit frizzy with heat & humidity then you could get a light version of a keratin.
This is how my hair is. I had gotten a keratin a few times and it was very strong. It lasted for several months and for the first month or so it made my hair very straight and flat with no body. It looked terrible at first! About a month later it started to look great!
I no longer get a keratin since it's just not right for my hair but have discussed a milder version with my stylist.

Shawn appears to have extensions because her hair magically grew a few inches overnight. I'm basing that opinion on how she looked on air--not how she looked in the "before" photo that was posted.
The products I mentioned are something I've tried for the past few months. I'm not sure how I'll feel about them later, but for now, I like them. I will continue to enjoy my soft blonde hair no matter how you feel.

If you don't want to try the products I mentioned, that's fine. I was simply responding to the OP's requests. I feel sorry for you @NYCLatinaMe that you feel a need a criticize most of my posts. I hope you are able to find some happiness somewhere and find something within yourself to keep from putting others down.

Who is trying to put who down? PS I was not criticizing you. Just providing an alternative to the products you were promoting.

Gnarly hair appears shorter than when it is straightened out.

Yeah, your "alternative" is a "keratin-like" treatment for your "gnarly hair" (your words, not mine).
Good luck with that.

Shawn should always have flawless hair on air. Her hubby Joe owns a couple of hair salons in the Philly area and he might even be partnered with a guy in NJ area too, I have heard. There is NO reason why she shouldn't have top of the line hair every presentation. Its now part of her family home so bring that A game to work, ALWAYS!!

@MrsBrianne - Didn't know the husband was in the hair business.

Yes, he most definitely and assuredly does:
November 1, 2022
HAMILTON, NJ – Mayor Jeff Martin recently joined My Salon Suite owners Joe Caretta, Aaron Gillaspie, and over thirty My Salon Suite members for the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of their second location in Hamilton Township.
Owner Joe Carretta brought My Salon Suite’s unique concept to Hamilton with his first location on Quakerbridge Road in June 2021. Along with Partner Aaron Gillaspie, Carretta has opened a second location in the Hamilton Marketplace with over 30 units and potential to expand.
Wishing to continue their growth in New Jersey, they chose the location in the Hamilton Marketplace due both in part to convenient access to area highways and the businesses within the Hamilton Marketplace which will help one another to prosper.
