You may have something here. It could become QVC's first scripted reality show with professional writers coming up with the banter between Shawn and Isaac. It has to be fake because no one can be that moronic.
I beg to differ, SK is the most moronic host ever, pair her with Issac and you have a disaster. They are the silliest most unwatchable two on the Q.

I don't know what they are teaching in school anymore, but we had to learn all about the solar system in basic 5th grade science class and after almost 50 years, I still remember it. For the record, I don't use that knowledge on a daily basis either, LOL.
However, since it is Shawn (and to a degree, Isaac), I'm not surprised. She demonstrates fairly regularly that she lacks a lot of fundamentals. I don't know how she made it through college with her lack of vocabulary. Maybe that is why she always makes up words; she doesn't have enough of a fundamental vocabulary to call upon.
Anyway, that is embarrassing for Shawn, except she dodged a bullet and Jane Treacy is being fingered as the ignoramus. I'm sure that JRT appreciates that!
I'd just like to add that the model's reaction is priceless. I'd cover my eyes too.

As a teacher, I resent the comment that what transpired between the 2 show hosts with regard to their confusion about the solar system as a commentary on the inadequacy of the public school system. There could be any number of reasons why they couldn't get their facts straight. Why chalk it up to their education and to the teachers who do all in their power to provide a solid foundation in all subjects? I think Cosmic's comments were harsh and judgmental; anyone who talks for a living is bound to put a foot in it from time to time. It's just unfortunate that it was broadcast live.

This was the most hilarious thing I've seen about these 2 nitwits!!! and on national TV too. Such a proud moment and I'm sure will be in their resumes.

Hey, why not blame a teacher? We get blamed for the failings of everything else in society.

Considering the ages of these two and when they WERE in school, it's a pretty broad stroke you are using to blame the school system. My guess is both were in sixth grade more than thirty years ago.

I'll bet the folks who think that Shawn and Isaac are the cat's meow and love to watch them watch purely for the entertainment (if you want to call it that) and don't purchase anything. Those of us who can't stand the silliness and want to hear about the items being presented are the ones who are serious buyers but can't stand to watch long enough to purchase anything.

The point that seems to be missed is that these are fairly basic earth science facts. Nobody is asking them to explain the physics of a rocket to the moon, just know what the moon is.

The point is--these two are on fashion show--not The Science Guy with Bill Nye---they should be talking about CLOTHES. Anyway, even then, they are ridiculous!! I hope the powers that be at the Q are grinding their teeth---I cannot stand to watch either of them and now that they are showcased on the pms time slot--I won't be watching at all or anytime for that matter.
