Shawn Unfiltered With Sandra Bennett

Another good episode of Shawn Unfiltered on QVC+ this week. These people have interesting stories, as I guess we all do when you dig further than surface...over a lifetime...sometimes not what you expect having only watched them sell clothing and makeup!

Anyway, it's nice to go beyond the Q studio of "selling on air" and see the human side to everyone. Again, I'll say, Shawn's found a great niche for herself in this...much better, in my humble opinion, than I like her as a salesperson, or host. I know that sounds like a left-handed compliment, but just saying...I just think everyone shows a different side, or skill in different elements. I also think Shawn, who obviously has a curious mind, enjoys this a lot, maybe more than her on-air selling. She's alluded to that as well, so I'm not just putting that on her.

Anyhoo...

The story of Sandra's adoption of her daughter was interesting, and brought her to tears, and me too.

Just sharing, in case anyone is interested.

@amyb I just watched it and thought it was so good. I wanted it to keep going. Shawn is marvelous at it. Can't wait to see who's next.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

@Estellee She actually said in that interview with Sandra that that day she was also interviewing Mary Beth! I'll look forward to that one...I'd been wishing she would interview MB, as she's a beloved host, and it'd be interesting to see her talk about other parts of her life. I once either read about her, or saw her interviewed on something...anyway, I learned about other interesting things she's done over the years, such as host exchange students in her home. So it should be interesting.

She is going to be missed on Q.

@amyb Oh, I was hoping she would interview Mary Beth. Yes, I have read many impressive things about Mary Beth over the years. Like many other people I have been watching her since the beginning, we all grew up together lol. I'll really miss her too. She has quite a few  retirement shows coming up till her finale on 3/21. I'm watching it all Woman Happy

Re: Shawn Unfiltered With Sandra Bennett

@amyb    Amy, MANY have said the same about Shawn with her podcast and how they aren't a fan of her hosting QVC. She most def has found a niche and is a natural with this podcast. Shawn will be better than both Kerstin and Jennifer Coffey and Shawn needs to really think about doing it full time.

I also can't stand Shawn as a host, althugh oddly enough I do like her in Shawn Saves Christmas. Otherwise, CAN'T STAND HER as a host. She is amazing with the podcast interviews. Finally, Sandra is cool, calm, and collected, rather than a manic, speed talking Nervous Nellie, as a host. If only Shawn could be in her ear when Sandra is hosting/selling to calm her down.

An excellent podcast interview, but yeah you said what many of us have all said about Shawn. I hope she retires next and does the podcast/interviews fulltime.

Re: Shawn Unfiltered With Sandra Bennett

Maybe she'll leave her QVC hosting job and be a permanent podcaster. I wouldn't mind that at all.

I watched Dennis Basso, Mally, Rick and Sandra's podcast. Would like to see David, Leah and Jayne in a podcast too. Mary Beth's should be coming up next.
