Like Shawn, I see many women - who have their hair hanging down the sides of their face - constantly pushing or moving their hair back!
My DD had a college friend who wore her hair like Shawn's but longer. Her hair was always hanging in front of her face and covering one eye. And she was always pushing or tugging at that side to get it out of her face! It took me much "self restraint" not to reach over and push her hair behind her ears!!
I read years ago, that women who wear their hair hanging in their face are really trying to hide...to fade into the background! Not sure I believe that but.....it is a thought!!

With all the wig show she hosts, she needs to try on different colors to see what looks good if she wants a change. I have to say that currently the pushing the hair out of the face is annoying. She may consider bangs instead. Her current color is fine.

I've noticed this! When hosts and vendors go to CA, I've seen them come back with a better cut and style. I think Maria Cool can only do so much when the client wants it "her" way.

It was very true for me, @corita. When I wasn't feeling well, when I had no makeup on, I always pulled my hair around my face with sun glasses on (hah, you can't see me).

@Silver Fox1 I agree on the color issue. IMO, if you're a brunette and want blonde highlights, the base color needs to be lightened up so it doesn't have the obvious striped look.

I've seen Shawn do a wig show, and she's the only host I've seen that never tries on even one wig, @Katcat1. I think her hair is very stiff - even the pieces that fall in her face are clunked together.

@febe1, You can tell that Shawn has very thick hair so she can have so many different short styles.

I like Shawn's style, but I liked her better as a blond.

I might be in the minority here, but if Shawn wants to wear her hair short, l would like it better if it were in her natural dark color, and cut similar to Kris Jenner's style:
It's a striking and dramatic look, IMO.
