I ordered this fan in the evening, and it showed a delivery date of 4/28. Now it's saying backorder with no date. 🤦🏼‍♀️

There was a thread yesterday about this fan being available from other sources.  Search for it.  Costco online had it in white for $10 less, I believe.  

It's just a fan.  Cancel the order and buy it from somewhere else if you don't want to wait.

I ordered it in the morning and it showed immediate delivery until I got to checkout, then it said "Advance Order", available to ship 4/21, which is tomorrow.  So, we'll see what happens.

Costco may have a cheaper option, but I'm not a member.  Similar Shark fans without as many accessories were higher on Amazon when I checked yesterday.  

The Advance Order/Backorder thing has been going on for a while with some products.  It's frustrating when you don't find that out until after you've placed an order.

The "advance order" message often appears when the item has not yet arrived the the warehouse due to a delay in shipping.

@geezerette - I checked Amazon as well, and I believe it was $30 more without the car charger. I'm not in a hurry, just surprised when I saw it on back order.

I don't like QVC's game playing. I went to Walmart dot com and got the one that didn't have the mist and one other feature I didn't want anyway.

One I bought (only color they offer) was grey and was 139, free shipping and supposedly getting Mon. !

Faster delivery , 20 cheaper, and all I wanted was the remote and being able to remove it from the base.

QVC advertises stuff they don't even really have even if

they say "order confirmed" you wait few days then they say "sold out". Your left out in left field waiting for a fly ball.   P on that way of doing business.

@Kachina624   I'm convinced that this happens w/ a lot of items. I think the orders are not even sent to the vendor until the items are purchased. They don't want to lay out the money for a huge order, pay up front and be stuck w/ inventory.

@SharkE - the main reason I ordered it was because of the car charger. I'm in FL, and with hurricane season fast approaching, I'd be able to have a fan in case of a power outage.

Yeah, I don't blame you !   I got mine yesterday guess it was at the local Walmart. LOL Simple to put together just couple of slide in of the posts.

Sure is short. I wanted something to blow on me while I was on recumbent bike and if your already sitting down it's perfect.   I'm 5'5 and works for me, but, if your tall best keep looking.

Takes 5 hrs to charge up too before you can play with the remote.
