Shapermint shaping panty

Aired this morning on A.M. Style.  Why would the vendor say more than once that this undergarment helped with the models posture?  Odd phrase to use for a panty.

It has boning and silicon inside.  Sounds horribly uncomfortable!!

I always want to try a shaping panty of some kind but they seem like they would be very hot, tight and uncomfortable.  I doubt that I could handle it even though I would like to try and tame a couple areas (guess which ones?? - ha-ha) .
