happen to get up early the other morning and jane t.was on with this lady selling face size shami cloths probably 5x5 for 6/24.00. Supposedly they are made in Sweden and absorbed liquid spills. I buy the a similar product 20x20 for drying the cars in the dollar store for 1.00 each. I think recent posts about QVC prices being to high are spot on.

Well, I'm not sure they are the same things as car chamois cloths---I have that item that the host was selling and I would not use it for the car altho you prob could, I guess. I have been looking for a chamois cloth for my windshield but at the auto store they were $15 for one. Chamois are a natural material like a leather or suede type.

Genuine chamois cloths have been expensive as far back as my memory goes. Used to use them on my car. Size was about 2' x 3' I think.

Chamois can be very pricey. I would say that inexpensive chamois is probably not real.
