Just corporate stuff.Perhaps the newer host gets a lower salary.  Perhaps they think they can change the audience by selecting a younger host. I tune in rarely and do not recognize anyone anymore.  And quite frankly many of these hosts indulge in endless chatter and I never really get good product information.

I notice the young ones have taken over many many hours of fashion while older ones have taken a back seat to "kewl" fashion. Leah seems to be holding her own. Jane T has been thrown in for comfort. Jayne, Mary Beth, Pat once carried the fashion.

Whoever  is on the Skechers  TSV video showing the shoes needs to be instructed that if her hands are shown she needs to get a fill! Looked horrible and unprofessional. Yuk

@Calcgirl   The Skechers video shows Rachel and Jennifer presenting the sneaker.  Only Rachel's hands are in the close-ups, and her manicure is simple and impeccable. 

QVC must have changed out the video that you saw.

I just don't get the revolving door concept for hosts.  The many hosts that have been let go were awesome.  To have them here one day and gone the next is confusing for viewers.  I like to shop with hosts that I 'know'.  There's a continuity and trust that develops between the hosts and the viewers.  That continuity is broken when the familiar hosts disappear and new ones come on board, only to be let go at a later date.

@Northern Belle 2 - Not all of the hosts that were "let go" (your words) were awesome. 

And, some may have left of their own choosing. Some were let go because they were not making the sales numbers.

Whether you like a host or not, this is a sales job and if they are not making the sales, the contract not renegotiated.

And they are salespeople, not friends. They only care about selling a viewer as much as possible.

Some great hosts are gone. I rest my case. these new ones can't hold a candle to any of them. It doesn't make sense to me. That's just MY opinion. I realize its none of our business but that's business I guess!
