Posting reviews - so QVC has tweeked the review page by not only asking us reviewers 'did we buy this item' and now a big statement to check yes that we commit to what we said is true. Reviews won't even post unless we check all the boxes.

So how are these ridiculous posts still being posted if the reviewer STILL hasn't made the purchase, STILL don't even own the item(s)?

I look at something I might want to purchase, I go to the reviews and read them. Some of the reviews make me laugh out loud. Some of these reviews are good, others not at all. Many reviews  are worthless because they don't tell me anything about the item regardless what it is.

@Jasmine19  I will say I've done this - gave a thumbs down - because while the review gives details, the reviewer is still writing things that don't even relate or pertain to the item or simply are not accurate about the item. I know this to be true because I own the item too.

@PINKdogWOOD  because the poster lies in order to get their rant or unsubstantiated praise posted.  They check the box, knowing that's the only way the system will let them submit it.  Unfortunately, that box is on the honor system.

@Caaareful Shopper   This to me is just more proof that while that make us check the boxes in order to post, whoever is in the team at QVC STILL are not reading them themselves.

HSN's review system has the ability to check to see if you actually made the purchase.  You have to wait at least 5 days after delivery before you can submit a review.  At least that starts all reviews with people who have actually purchased the item.

@Caaareful Shopper   amazon does this too and notes this on each review that they post.
