I received an email awhile ago for a 5 easy pay offer good til March 10 that can be used twice on items of $50 or more. Well, I was going to purchase a pair of Birki sandals for $75 because QVC emailed ME this offer. I tried to use it online, following all the instructions to a "T". The website SCOLDS me, saying, "We're sorry, this promotion is not available on your account. Please note that this promotion is not transferable, and may only be used once. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service department at 1-888-345-5788."
Well, I did not ASK for this offer...it was sent to my regular email address that all my QVC stuff goes to. I used my pin that seems to work just FINE whenever I order without a promotion. If the promotion is not good for my account, DO NOT EMAIL IT TO ME!!!!!! I am not ordering these without the easy pay. Maybe I could call customer service and make a fuss, but I should not have to! I am just so irritated, I had to vent.

This is called venting. I know I can call if I want. That is not the point of my post. I felt the need to vent in the moment so I can let it go and forget about it. I thought I would get it out of my system on here. Guess I need to keep it to myself.

It is called whining. No website is scolding you. It is a glitch -- a glitch that has been going on for a while. QVC should get it fixed, admittedly, or, at minimum, indicate that it can only be used via telephone until the issues are resolved, but grow up, act like an adult, and stop stomping your feet and whining.
Sure, you have the right to vent -- and you have -- and others have a right to point out that you are being silly.

Things affect different people in different ways - what bothers one person a lot rolls off the back of another. Let her vent if she wants to, everyone else does. You don't have to waste your precious time reading it or responding to it! It's like everyone saying "turn the channel" if you don't like what's on!

Amy1900, you don't need to apologize to anyone for how you feel or expressing your opinion-you are entitled to it. I really ranted on here about something the other day, and yes, I got mixed replies. This is a forum for discussion and expressing our views-if something made you mad, I don't think there is anything wrong with you saying so. Just develop a thicker skin --I had to because I got my feelings hurt a lot when I first started on here -- I've found a lot of wonderful, caring people on these boards
, so just concentrate on those and ignore the ones who want to put you down. That's their bad, not yours!!![]()
