I attended a lot of out of town and state conferences during my working career and if I had acted like they did, I would have been out of a job. She is trying to coverup and make excuses for a bunch of unprofessional obnoxious and vulgar acting adults who was suppose to be promoting a business. Sound like a bunch of bull......and it's humiliating for her to think some of us believe her fake sorry story....JMO...
What Sandra forget to explain was how the conference educated and promoted hemorrhoids to draw business to the Q.. I think most adults even under the age of 50 are familiar with hemorrhoids.

Uh huh...I can just picture them breaking into groups of five and brainstorming about what's important to the over 50 woman. Each group had a spokesperson who then presented their input to the room. I wonder what nuggets of wisdom they gained. Shawn kept saying how something really exciting was happening but the way I see it, yeah, the hosts got a few days in LV.

I guess I'm a bit confused about the whole thing including why all the hoopla about this Vegas trip. QVC runs their business the way they want and if they were celebrating over 50 or going for a conference it doesn't bother me one way or another ! I'm only interested in rather I want to spend my money on fashion or whatever I choose to purchase from QVC and if it's more than I want to spend then I don't buy it. I'm 73 yrs old and I have other things to be interested in rather than QVC's Vegas trip.

@Puppy Lips😂 Yeah she does love that.
She could have added in the note what her and her daughter enjoyed most about the trip though. 🤗
@RescueLover JT's daughter went with her? Of course she did. Silly me.

This campaign has to be one of the most ridiculous promotions ever. Do you really think these hosts believe they are in the midst of great possibilities? Let's be honest - they know all too well that what follows these 50+ years will be filled their having to fight for their professional lives. Regardless of what QVC wants us to believe, there is nothing positive about growing old in the workplace. When these hosts were in their 30's and 40's they probably never thought about their 50's and now that it is upon them they need to do something to self promote their worth in the workplace. And it gets harder as the years pass. Soon it will be 60+, the Age of ............. ???, assuming they are still around.

@kindred cats ...........These boards are not the only social media that posted their displeasure about this whole mess. So that does not mean they read these boards and go by a few complaining posters compared to thousands on FB alone.

I was wondering myself why it was left up to one host to "explain" these things.
Really?
So, all the advance press, pamphlets and breathless faux-hysteria was a "show about nothing?"

Having family members that work for large companies...they don't do big commute business trips any longer. Things changed drastically after covid.
Also, wouldn't it have been nice to do focus groups with women from all walks of life? Not just those that are celebrities or have corporate executive jobs? Really get to know what all women over 50 are interested in, are concerned about and would like to see on QVC?
Plus, most of the people that attended the Vegas conference already work with hosts at QVC. The event probably should have been promoted differently or quite honestly not at all. Have the conference, get pumped up (for whatever) but I thought from all the promotion that they were going to do shows strictly from Vegas.
