Since Today's Special Value is the Egg Harbor Salmon, I'm looking for some very easy salmon recipes.  Can anyone recommend a recipe for an air fryer or oven?

@Bonzomom --I just re-upped for another year of this salmon--it is so delicious. I cook mine in the airfryer  at 380* for about 4 minutes and turn over after 2 minutes-- I heard  the internal temp should be 145*---but I just use a fork to see what the thickest part looks like--can be a little more rare--it will continue cooking-- but then just put back for not  even a 1 minute. I know they say to cook longer but don't--it will reach the doness by sitting covered ---I also pat it dry on both sides before cooking, that way it will roast and not steam.--I put a tiny bit of olive oil on both sides then use the seasoning you will get--it is very good. A few days ago I found a miso marinade that was spectacular--but a little salt and pepper is prefect too.

I cover the top with pesto and then add panko bread crumbs.  I bake in my toaster oven at 425 for 10 minutes.

I just made some last night as I had some frozen salmon in the freezer which I had not made for a while.  It was so good I plan on going to get another package when I go shopping tomorrow.  I buy mine from Costco and it's wild caught salmon which is very good.

I just put it in my toaster oven (convection) and I added some organic Coconut Aminos (it's a soy sauce alternative), some mustard, a bit of Mrs. Dash and fresh garlic.  It was so good!  I baked it at 325 for 20 minutes.

@wagirl   What wattage is your air fryer?  I believe I heard Brittany say to cook 12 min in A/F...So you only cook for 4 min ?

@89135 ---My airfryer  is 1500 watts--12 minutes is way to long--in my opinion----I usually cook these on my Ninja outdoor grill/smoker on medium for 4 minutes and they are perfect----and if they seem not cooked thru--which mine always are prefectly done--you can cook a little more but  I like salmon to be moist and not tough and dried out---I cook some steaks maybe for that long but never fish

okay..so you don't cook in A/F and cook in your Ninja grill/smoker? That would make a difference I would think...My A/F is 1150 W so I guess everyones time would be different..thx

I have the Ninja Foodi Double Drawer Air Fryer.  Is it 1500 watts?  I'm not sure.

Re: Salmon Recipes

[ Edited ]

I have a Ninja Air Fryer and I cook this salmon at 380 degrees for about 12 minutes and to me it's cooked perfectly and not dry. I have no idea what the wattage is. It's the Barrell style air fryer.  I usually just spritz with some olive oil, sprinkle on the seasoning they supply and that's it. I do not turn mine.  I have other rubs and recipes I use occasionally, but usually if I am only making for myself I keep it simple.
