I have enjoyed watching and buying from QVC for years and it saddens me to say it has changed so much that watching is no longer pleasing.  The silliness, hosts competing to be heard over one another,  product information being replaced by irrelevant personal stories and lack of professionalism is too much to overlook. Q2 is just a hotness.  I realize the hurdles that arrived with the pandemic but after a year, IMO, those kinks should be ironed out. HSN seems to be much more ahead in dealing with the same issues.

I totally agree.  It is very sad.  In spite of my requests to have more product info  re: length of garment etc. the hosts just chatter away & I have to go online to see that fact.  Talking over the vendors just drives me crazy.  Apparently what we think does not matter.

I don't watch HSN, just never think about it.  But I agree that Q is not what it used to be.  I have been a member from almost the beginning and host professionalism got lost in the last several years.

Out of all the channels I do find the HSN hosts to be more watchable and more enjoyable.  I am not purchasing frome either because I find what I am looking for locally.  But I do enjoy their presentations.

I really used to enjoy Monday night fashions etc. but I think the problem I'm having is that there's too many hosts there at one time. Stupid questions asked, pajama wearing, wine drinking. Not my thing but apparently it is for others.

@drivingmissdaisy I gave up a few years ago. I wasn't in the market to buy the hosts children, I watched to get information about a product. It got to the point that I went from 24/7 having the Q on to not bothering to even switch over to see if there was anything. I think that was about the time where most of the day was spent on WII. They must have bought a warehouse full of that piece of garage sale stuff.

Now, I look at items I have bought in the past, but I don't bother to tune in to see if they have anything I might be interested in.

I have gone back to the brick & mortar stores locally. Surprising how much they have that don't involve high priced shipping or waiting 2 weeks for it to ship. I can either bring it right home with me, or have it delivered to my door within 24 hours of paying for it if it is heavier than something I can carry.

No, I am sure the Q doesn't miss me, and I have the same feeling for it. I do check their sale items from time to time, but again local is better when I add up the shipping and wait time.

I think it's a wise decision. I used to be a frequent shopper and I've only purchased one thing this year and sent it back. There's plenty of places to spend money or better yet, save it for something special.

I don't see the reason for announcing one's departure.
