Re: SHARKS RULE, COOK TILL YOU DROP, UNENJOYABLE ENTERTAINING

Sick, sick, sick, sick of the constant overload of the following, and more:

Philosophy

WEN

Vacuums

Josie Maran and Products

Vionic, all Clarke's

Dooney and Bourke, P L E A S E

Dana Bledsoe and Dr. Perricone, do I believe a word she says? NOT !

Temp-Tations

Cooking shows, too long, too often, too many ( why does every Sabbath have to be taken up with it ?)

Flameless Candles ad nauseum

Lisa Robertson hosting so many shows

Vitamix, Kitchen Aid, etc.

And so much more....

QVC is getting so focused on just a few things as opposed to broadening their markets, where is anything fresh and exciting anymore? They run these shows repeatedly and into the ground. They have chased off many vendors that had good products and narrow things down to their favored few. It makes watching so boring.

They need a good 'ole 50-in-50 tour again !

Your right....QVC has become a cure for insomnia.{#emotions_dlg.closedeyes}...They need something...50/50 or something to keep the customer engaged.....Or perhaps the Q's fresh start could begin at the Exec Offices ....and then with the buyers and programmers.....

I've actually not minded this dreary, wet weekend... It will be nice to see the sun again, whenever that is, and it's nice not to have to go out when it's raining unless you choose to, so if the work week is pleasant, well, that'll work too... No, I don't at all look forward to summer. I know a lot of folks around here are tired of winter, and it has been a long, messy one, so I get that. I'm tired of it too, but I'll take winter over summer... Day after day of hot, humid weather. Slays me that people talk about how much they love it and yet they rush to the a/c...

I ended up running the vacuum and tidying up the kitchen and main bath in the most minimal ways, but that was all I felt like doing, so that's all I did...

I HATE SUMMER!!!!! I know people that love love love it....no matter how hot and humid....let's go walking or hiking.....you see them out there gardening in the hottest part of the day....I have all I can do to take my trash out on garbage day....then immediately have to come in and take another shower. I go from air conditioned car to air conditioned office, to air conditioned stores....Its a wonder my neighbors dont accuse me of being a vampire I just hate the heat!.....Then there are the utility bills....which resembles the national debt!!! Give me winter any day...(and our winter is much like fall in other places....not all that cold)...although for some they think they were living in the arctic...{#emotions_dlg.laugh}. My sis for one....she enjoyed the 90 degree day....wait until it lasts for 4 or 5 months....then she will start to complain....of course she's the type when it hits 80 after a long and hot summer, she wants to use her fireplace.....{#emotions_dlg.glare}

Your sister needs to move to New York and pursue Eli... They deserve each other!

Oh she's told me plans for her new furniture....and she wants leather....I pictured a big black leather oversized couch with a picture of Eli over her fireplace mantel, with her Eli action figure and NY Giant chip and dip bowl on the coffee table. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} And I pictured all of her friends avoiding her dinner parties or get togethers to prevent them from having to view her salute to Eli. Thankfully she said no the leather she wanted was more like suede in a neutral color.....and for accent colors she would have aqua elements and decor...WHEW! I thought for a moment there I'd have to disown her....{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}.

She'd never last the NY winters (where its 4 below or worse).....although she would probably go ice skating at Rockefeller Center...ONCE! NY is one of her favorite places....

I love NYC... I think it would be a great place to live in one's youth. The only way I'd want to live there as I begin to approach my dotage is if I had big, big bucks and could afford a fabulous place with a great concierge!

Re: SHARKS RULE, COOK TILL YOU DROP, UNENJOYABLE ENTERTAINING

Maybe there is a viewer demand to show the same items repeatedly. The Wenners always seem excited about the Chaz Dean shows, so I figure that they want WEN products viewed all the time. I'm not sure about some of the others. As far as I'm concerned, QVC could show hours of Jasper and I'd be happy.

OT: SPURT, what would your sister do if--Heaven forbid-- Eli went to another team? Would she follow him or stay a Giants fan? I'm asking because when Peyton went to Denver, I know of Colt fans who then became Bronco fans. That's their choice, but I couldn't abandon my Colts no matter what.

The temperature was 65 yesterday! I've been seeing robins around, and it seems like spring is slowly getting here.

Wasn't it bad enough that I had to endure a weekend of vacuuming and mixers, now on Thursday, April 3 .... a day long extravaganza of GARDENING.

Don't forget all day beauty on Friday... The Q's 'new' infomercial format is a complete snore. They sorely need to mix it up.

Hey Tegan.....I think my sis would stick with her Giants....she has been a fan for quite a while...the Phil Simm days....so I think she'd choose her team over Eli.

When the Spurs were on their win streak (emphasis on were)....she was contemplating getting a huge big screen TV because she was sure the Spurs with the streak would streak right into the Finals and she was envisioning the party she would have .....Her plans were dashed when the Spurs lost to the Thunder ....well at least the Thunder's Kevin Durant is a Redskin fan.....and at least one Redskin fan was happy.....
