I actually love Susan's line, it makes up almost all of my work wardrobe. You are right, though, the prices are now quite high. I am glad that Susan is offering more designs without flowers (geometrics,etc)- but that makes them more tempting!

@liviagrace wrote:Has anyone else noticed how Susan Graver's prices have increased? Even Belle, Issac and a few others don't raise their prices on everythiing. I can see on some unique, special pieces, ie., Belle and Isaac, but SG thinks ALL her pieces are unique and warrant such high prices. I'm though buying her. I can't believe its manufacturing either,as her items are mostly all imported. : (
QVC owns the Graver line and sets the prices.

Her prices have been going up and up for years. I stopped buying her line years ago. Not a good fit on me and too pricey. I don't pay $60.+ for a top when I shop elsewhere.

I think this line is overpriced....I can find similar styles and fabrics at Dillards for $39.....

Totally agree. Her prices are higher than most other designers but people keep on buying. As long as she continues to sell thousands of pieces, nothing will change. I have cut way back on her items because of the price, but others have not.

Our small downtown shopping is fantastic! I have found items made here in the US and they were less expensive than many QVC sells that come from China. These prices on Chinese products have been rising during the past number of years, prior to raise in tariffs.
I hope more designers will use US manufacturers. The fact that Chinese manufacturers don't have laws against child labor or for insuring decent conditions in their factories make me try to avoid buying their products. China has nothing like OSHA! When people like SG tour Chinese factories, they are shown only a few select places that appear to be fine workplaces. They are not shown the typical factories.

I have been a QVC shopper from day one. Her line was initially well priced, with an emphasis on her basics and fabrics. When she started pushing that liquid knit at increased prices, everything followed suit, The fabric is not only thin and chintzy, but inexpensive compared to other polyester weights. Her pants soared into a starting price of $60. Her line is very overpriced, poor quality, and she's a more than difficult presenter to watch and listen to. I spent my career as a buyer of clothing for several large retailers, and in my humble opinion, there are less expensive fashions out there for the taking. While prolific in her offerings, the majority of the line is overpriced for what you get. I don't get the following she has. God knows, she gets a lot of air time.
But...wake up ladies!

It's not the tariffs. Have you shopped Kohl's, Penney's, Macy's & too many others to list. They have very nice clothing & some very similar to QVC. They have sales, rewards, coupons etc. You are paying to watch television! I do have limited sourses of tall clothing locally so I do by tall pants at the Q. We pay the models & designers just so we can watch them.

Plenty of her line and other Q clothes listed on ebay for great prices. Look for those that are new and not preowned.
