At the very least, new hosts will post their schedules and veterans tend to post more about their personal lives.

In any event, I think that ignoring your employer's social media completely speaks volumes, in my opinion.

@They CallMe MRWILKES   100% agree.

The last host that refused to regularly incorporate social media in his QVC host duties was Dan Hughes.  He posted about once every 4 or 5 months, and always complained about doing it, in his dry wit.

Even Nancy Yoon, former host who took an extended leave of absence, would comment on other hosts's posts on Facebook quite regularly when she was away.  She also thanked posters for inquiring about her well-being when they saw her post.

I wonder who her mentor is (or was.)

She could have been well-advised by someone at QVCto post something as simple and benign as "I'll be off for awhile and will keep in touch later."  Easy.

No one needs to know any specifics:  the corporate world, including QVC, provides a variety of personal and family leaves, extended disability leaves, sabbatical and so on.

Going completely radio silent only spurs and invites questions and speculation.
