Someone else mentioned jewelry.  Where are the jewelry shows?   At least that's pretty to watch! 

Perhaps the income percentage is higher on electronics.  Beats me.

Yes, we all realize that we can simply "change the channel."

However, that is not the point. We are asking for particular items that we can buy--like jewelry, sweaters, quilts, and the like. All of these can be logical and desired gifts. Obviously, more money can be made on electronics, however.

So turn off the TV.  Shop other websites. Go to stores nearby (even if that means traveling for an hour).  You'll keep your spirits up, and your money away from the electronics vortex (unless that's truly your thing).

The good side? I got my tree up and decorated, the house cleaned, and most other decorations up. Today, in lieu of watching WEN, I'll be washing crystal. I'm thinking they're doing me a big favor

To be honest, I'd rather see nonstop electronics in November and December than the diet programs and exercise equipment they'll be bombarding with us in January. Now that is boring programming!
