@Cumbercookie13 wrote:To be honest, I'd rather see nonstop electronics in November and December than the diet programs and exercise equipment they'll be bombarding with us in January. Now that is boring programming!
I avoid both categories! I think diet programs and exercise equipment are calorie shaming bores and should be called out (or is it a clap back or some such trendy saying). Lol

I'm blessed because I am in a family that gives Christmas and birthday gifts that are a "want" and not a "need". Utilitarian, electroic gifts are rarely on someone's wish list, because if they want it, they will go get it themselves. Anywho, every family is different. Every retailer is trying to target high volum, high revenue customer segments. This too shall pass

I do change channels and turn off my TV for music. My hang up is that when I tune back in.....ta da.....more electronic stuff. Oh well. Life has beaucoup other options for using my time and browsing for gifts. Happy Holidays to you ![]()

Thank-you, Spurt, for you ingenius idea
You are Captain of the Obvious. But, I do not want to be sarcastic or argumentative with a stranger during this holiday season, or ever. Actually I do turn off the TV or change the channel. (Music, dectective shows or mysteries are my favorite background din.) When I tune back in...the marathon of electronics for sale ccontinues. I am amazaed these items are top, retailing gift ideas, that all. I'm done with this topic. Happy Holidays ![]()

I think that Electronics is the big seller everywhere this year, but the biggest thing that Q is lacking is shipping. For the first time ever, I didn't get an item before on the EDD. HSN also ticked me off this week.
I have not ordered from them n a few years. A few months ago I placed an order and finally got it after it was out of stock. It was in stock when I placed the order. I did get and am happy with it. Placed a second order, that went fine but I bought something Cyber Monday and it was a free shipping day. My total came to $53 and change. When I looked at my debit card they pulled out the 53 and change PLUS 59 and change. So I called and they said that is how it is billed when something is on special. You are charged what the item would be and then again for the price it is. I was like WHAT?????
He said a lot of sites are doing that. I said oh no they are not, because I shop a lot online and I have never had anyone do that. I had to wait 3 days for the 59 and change to drop off my card. That is wrong!!!

@this is my nic wrote:Someone else mentioned jewelry. Where are the jewelry shows? At least that's pretty to watch!
Perhaps the income percentage is higher on electronics. Beats me.
@this is my nic I agree, but I don't think jewelry is selling like it used to. All the diamonique shows are in the middle of the night, so I guess there is more demand for electronics. I did buy the Jam ear pods and I love them!
