Q has good return policy about stuff like that. LR is trying to protect herself from customer complaints. I dont agree that they are "unrealistic expectations" because in any business in order to be successful, you have to do your best to make your customer happy if you want them returning. Hence the saying, "customer is always right".
I really think it might be a good idea for someone to start a yelp account for her business. It doesnt have to be for complaint purposes but just something people can write reviews on based on their experience. Ive done it a couple of times for new businesses and people are open to post their reviews as they please. Its not that hard.
I purchased a ring from her when she first started out and the band of that ring is tarnished and ive worn it only once AND i have it in the anti- tarnish jewelry box. lol. So, that being said, I will not purchase over-priced, low quality, with questionable value jewelry from her ever! You can buy a lot of those pieces at Neimans and they stand behind their product.
Sorry to be off topic here but why do some of her pictures make her look like as if shes a deer infront of headlights?

Suggest everyone watch her video. I think you can if you don't have an account with Facebook.
@Foxxee I didn't hear her say that.
Can you give a time stamp on the video where you heard her say that?

NEITHER. Watch her video. She always blames her POOR quality products on someone other than herself. She sells shoddy merchandise from her couch. How LAME is that?

It was in the first 10 minutes that she said if you receive it tarnished, it was her problem. I'm not surprised you missed it because, as I said, it was very confusing. By the time she said that, she had been talking about perfume, lotion, what you wash your hands with, and on and on.

Thanks @Tadaki. If that was the point of the video she buried it very well lol.
I agree with everybody that it's a rambling unfocused session. Weird vibes.

@blueluna Haha! No, I think the point was the unrealistic expectations people have because she used that phrase multiple times. She makes it sound like people are trying to return things they've had for a long time.

She sure did to hush him!!! I think it’s great that David seems to let things slip little by little. You can tell Lisa looked very uncomfortable. Did you hear David mention he’s had to clean A LOT of jewelry lately?? Hmmm.....
She is getting a boatload of returns. Her ego is backfiring on her big time!
And yes, what happened to the spiel “every piece that is returned is then sent out to a reputable jeweler to clean it up and fix”. Don’t hear that garbage anymore unless David is this supposed jeweler. Lol
That jewelry cleaner she is promoting is definitely going to backfire on her. Now she’ll have several customers race out to buy it only for them soon to discover it eventually corrodes your jewelry. Lisa better hang on tight because she’s climbing a slippery slope. This living room business won’t make the long haul that’s for sure.
Did anyone read the comments from customers who asked Lisa to sell this cleaner??? SMH!! Do they realize she would charge triple for it but the more glaring question is why would anyone buy from her when it’s readily available for dirt cheap at other online stores. I don’t understand how she whips some of them into such a frenzy that they can’t see past her manipulation.
It's really sad that there are people who adore Lisa so much that they voluntarily pay a lot more for items than they're worth and for items that can easily be found elsewhere. They seem to be blind in their loyalty to her, and I doubt they would want to look elsewhere or do any kind of comparison-shopping because they're so focused on buying from Lisa. As though that makes something more valuable or precious, or makes them feel they have a special connection to her. That's on them - Not Lisa's fault. But she certainly does take full advantage of it.

I freely admit, I'm a jewelry hound (drop the 'und' and that more accurately describes me)!. I own a vast collection of vintage costume jewelry - most of it set in pot metal. You can't get any lower than that - a mixture of extremely cheap metals, thrown together in a pot and melted down. Stones then set in that cheap metal mixture. I have never once had any of my pot metal pieces tarnish. NOT ONCE.
I also own a substantial amount of 14k and 18k pieces. Yes, I do love my jewelry. I can honestly say, none of those have ever tarnished either. Yes, I take care of my jewelry, but not to the extent of wiping it down every time I wear it before putting it away. Yes, I wear lotion and perfume. I shower in my everyday pieces. Wedding rings, bracelets and a diamond cross. I've never had an issue. I don't think I have any kind of special "pH."
Seems to me, after watching Lisa's video she is trying to defend the indefensible. Her prices, on all of her products, are crazy high. But when you're delivering an inferior product at over-inflated prices your feet deserve to be held to the fire. .I have never bought plated gold jewelry from anyone. To me it looks cheap. The color is "off" and the majority of it is too heavy to be believable.
When I look at what Lisa offers, and her prices, I think for two of those cheap looking pieces, you could own one decent piece of actual, real gold. Spend your $$$s wisely gals. LuLu

I guess Lisa's customers should have low expectations. What a rip.
Thats nice to hear about technibond, I was watching Bill Green present Technibond a couple nights ago and the pieces looked nice. The chains looked pretty good. I have heard callers say that their pieces have held up over 20 years. I have never had gold tarnish either. I have black hills gold that looks better the more you wear it. ![]()

Let me get this right. Lisa is saying that her customers have unrealistic expectations because they bought items that became unwearable (no matter HOW they became unwearable) and they are at fault.
Well, I guess I better not buy from her because I am too dumb to know how to make her low quality junk into something else.
