Believe me when I tell you that I would never be on the side of anything that LR says, but if you run your silver polishing cloth over some of your gold pieces that you haven't worn in a while, you will see that they may have indeed tarnished a bit. It is less noticeable on gold, but it happens sometimes.
However, I still believe she is a shyster who sells junk.

I have pieces of costume/fashion jewelry that belonged to my mother and are sitting in a tray in my drawer. No baggee, no cleaning. They haven't tarnished. I also have a great deal of 18/14 KT gold and have never had a problem with tarnishing. . .even the plated pieces. My native american jewelry I keep in plastic bags. Other silver in a jewelry box. No real problems with tarnishing. I think the idea of having low expectations is simply "cya" for poorly made jewelry.

Let’s be clear on something. I think the point being and what most of her customers are upset about is not that they’re believing jewelry will never tarnish HOWEVER it should NOT TARNISH if never worn and stored properly! And the fact that Lisa is so accustomed to touting “her brand” and has always made it appear that she goes overboard with factories to make sure her items are well plated. No jewelry should tarnish as quickly as her jewelry does. Period! We’re not talking about pieces that are decades old. This is about unworn jewelry, jewelry tarnished upon arrival AND jewelry that is less than 3-6 months old that are badly tarnished! Those are the issues that are UNACCEPTABLE especially for the amount of money she charges for her things.
Did anyone notice her advanced orders are now TWO months out instead of the usual one month. So in another words, she takes the customers money right on the spot and spends it as she sees fit but yet they won’t receive what they ordered for a good two months even though they already paid for it from the onset. Lisa demands money upfront. Is that even legal?? Who in the world would choose to be out their money like that with nothing to show for it??! No “treasure” Lisa offers is worth that kind of nonsense. Reputable companies don’t charge the customer until the item is SHIPPED! It’s also been noted several times from customers that even when the expected date finally arrives, they still have to wait additional time to receive their merchandise because she has so many shipping issues. This is why fewer and fewer people are shopping with her. And it’s been said this is only the beginning of many problems that come along with this living room business of hers.

I have several Samuel B pieces and some Artisan pieces from Bali that I don’t wear often but look just as pretty as when I bought them.

I have a ton of Barbara Bixby pieces. They look as good as they day I received them.
Lisa sells junk. Traveling to Italy and buying straight from the vendors doesn't make it any better.
I wonder what her markup is? I'm sure it's super high

SMH at the thought that people are willling to pay up front....be it one month or two at least, before shipment....for most anything these days. I can't believe the credit companies allow her to get away with it. How often do her customers have to keep track of their purchases to be sure they'll eventually get them? She must be unable to get credit from her suppliers, hence the need to get money up front (JMHO). I would never do business with such a "company".

I have Technibond chains I bought 20 years ago from HSN that look just as good as when they were new. I don't know if today's stuff is as good I haven't bought any lately. I've never had real gold tarnish, even 10k.
I guess Lisa's customers should have low expectations. What a rip.

Oh please don't conjure anyone up that we don't want to hear from! We will have to hear how great the biz is doing and how she could have married a bazillionaire but chose to sell junk from her couch! Or, how she loves to surround herself with fab jewelry and famous people that no one cares any longer about!
I wonder why she wasn't at the Grammys? Maybe she will be at the Oscars - yeah, right. She will probably still be pushing cheap stuff from her sofa LOL.
