I wonder why it takes so long for QVC to get their returns, I sent something back on March 12th and it still hasn't got their yet.

Did you take it to the post office? If you did, it may have sat there for as long as a week waiting for QVC's "shipping agent" to pick it up and actually get it on it's way back to QVC. Mine was there for a week, and took a total of 14 days to be received by QVC - it had to go all of 500 miles!!{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

I don't have a problem with returns. I usually get my refund within 10 days. I will get an email about a week after I shipped it back that it has been received.

Kittymom, I don't understand what you mean by shipping agent? If you use the Q's return label it can be shipped by USPS or UPS.

If you used the Q's return label you should be able to track the return and POSSIBLY see why it's taking so long. One package I was expecting was days late due to a problem with a UPS trailer arriving late and UPS stated that in the tracking process.

I do use the Q's return label. As you probably know, you can't get any "status" info on QVC for several days, so I make a copy of the label I use. If you go on the USPS post office website and key in the number under the large barcode on the label, it will tell you when the package was accepted at the post office. If you keep checking that, it will then tell you when it was picked up by the "shipping agent". After it's picked up by the shipping agent, I think it may go by UPS, I'm not sure. Then you can't get any more info until the "status" on QVC gets updated. I've had packages sit in my local post office for up to 7 days (in particular, Friday, Feb. 28 to Friday, March 7, when the shipping agent picked it up). My latest "adventure" with this is posted in a thread on QTalk that I called "I admit it, I have to rant ...I've finally been pushed over the edge!" It's about 3 pages down now, but that along with defective items and sizing issues, has made me decide to take a very long sabbatical from purchasing anything from QVC. HSN also uses a "shipping agent", but the package I left for them on the same day arrived and was credited to my account in 6 days while my QVC package was still at the post office.

Thanks kitty, I get what you're saying now! USPS is handing it off to UPS and it has to wait for their pick up. I go to a very busy post office so maybe that's why I never had a problem. I would imagine they would have a lot to pick up and need pick up every day.

Yes, I agree about the Q status, I always check the # at the shippers site.

I don't purchase much from here anymore though, only something I really want and can't find it anywhere else.

I don't think it's UPS that actually picks it up, but I don't know for sure. My thought is that if it were UPS, it wouldn't take that long. I asked at the post office one day why my packages stayed there so long, and they said it was some kind of arrangement with QVC. I have one more return I have to make and I think I will drop it off at the UPS store, even though it's less convenient - just to see what happens.
