I called about a long return and the customer service rep said the long waits aren’t due to the fire but to backups. I had mentioned the fire and she seemed to act like I was wrong. Then why is the message still up? If QVC can’t handle volume then I’m not buying till my returns are finished. We are paying interest on these items that are on our charge cards so long. She claimed to do something on the one item I called about but said it could still take 10 days. It’s at the return center! I have other returns and they seem to ship them all over the place before they are actually at a processing center. I’m losing interest. S&H on returns isn’t cheap. They should be shipped quickly. Another annoying thing is when you try to track your returns the computer doesn't load it or takes forever to load it. Then sometimes you get a “ somethings wrong” message. It’s frustrating and there is no quality service anymore. Quality service means being kept informed.

I would never pay one cent of interest.

To me running an interest bearing balance on a credit card means we are buying things we can NOT afford.

QVC does NOT sell life sustaining things...so our purchases are for our own desires and wants, NOT needs.

I use EZ pay.  YES, returns take a month.

I just pay the full amount on my Q card, even though they owe me...what  $6-8 of an ez pay return?  That credit will show up eventually.

In the mean time, I pay the full amount owed even though something was returned.

@misschristy   The fastest way by far to get your credit is to pay return shipping yourself and not using the prepaid label.  QVC uses a 3rd party shipper who picks up pkgs at the post office.  Sometimes, returns can sit there for 10+ days before they even leave town.

I totally agree the return time frame is beyond ridiculous, but to me...so is running a balance month to month on your credit card.

I returned a few things on the 1/31/22 extended return date and today I already have credit for one of them.

Like @RespectLife, I never ever, ever use the return label and in return I get much faster return credit, along with complete tracking info, so I'm not sitting here wondering if my return was 'lost'.

And most times the cost is very comparable to the label fee cost and my returns are so much more stress free.

The only drawback to doing it that way is that occasionally I'm charged for the return label, even though I didn't use it, but a quick phone call/email to the Social Team resolves that quickly!

Im sure the problem is, people like me procrastinate and don't send their returns until the last couple of weeks in January so QVC is suddenly inundated with returns that must be process.  It takes awhile.

I returned mine on the last day for holiday returns, 1/31/22, and already have credit for one today, by doing it my way with no label involved, I stick with what works for me.

I learned my lesson when they first started the return label, I used it once and then I knew better, but that's just my own personal experience.

I totally understand what your going through. Most of my returns have not even posted as returns. This is what I learned from a QVC rep. I always have the post office scan my returns then I have a tracking number. I then wait a bit then I call them up and give them the number. I always use their return labels. If they see that the labal was used and I no longer have the item they will credit me and stop all easy pays. I have also found that some of my items have already been returned to the return center. It's no longer NC because of the fire. I found that mine were sent to GA and KY. I did mention the GA return to a rep and she said I didn't even know any returns were going there. She was totally in the dark. Maybe managment might want to let their CS know these things. If they see this they will credit you and stop easy pays if you have them.

I was so lucky one day I had about 6 things to credit and the CS rep was so nice, she just credited them without any problems. I have items that I returned in NOV that still haven't shown up under my RETURN items. It's a mess for sure. Good Luck.

Slow returns processing is just one of the reasons I don't buy much from Q anymore. It's not like I return much but the delay is irritating. My experiences is that retailers process them much faster.

Try the Easy Returns page. I returned two cosmetic items in one box, filled out the order info requested on Easy Returns page, and within 36 hours I had email from CS letting me know both items had been credited to my account. Very nice!  The Q social team can also help you with timely returns.

Thanks to all of you for your help. I didn’t know about the easy returns page. I did both the one online where you print a label and the label they send. I am waiting for about 7 items right now. I’ll call customer service like I did with the oldest one.
