I don’t know why they bother. I have had no luck with this service. On three occasions they sent me the same exact item they I returned or they tell you it’s no longer available when it clearly is. Q needs to hire more competent people because my experience has been negative

I don't know what to tell you, I've had 2 successful returns and exchanges so far this month. The turn around time isn't as fast as it could be, but I'm not complaining. I think you are right about the help though, you have to be lucky enough to get someone who is contentious.

Possibly you may have not been clear in filling out your return slip.  Did you contact CS to speak with someone?
