You didn't know what color pearl you would get. They sold those for a long time and must have sold many thousands. I think one of my kids got one for a gift. I think I saw something similar at HSN years later.
It was Wish Pearl.

Loved these sweaters and the vendor was so very nice! I have purchased a couple of cardigans by Isaac Mizrahi but that is all I will be buying in the clothing line anymore. I needed a couple in my closet. No clothing on TV but I find myself shopping more at HQ.com, LL Bean, Macy's, etc. The quality is not at the Q anymore.
I have a Precious Fibers sweater that I love!
And Joseph Esposito sterling. I have some of his pieces, very high quality, made in USA, and a very nice man on air.

I loved the Jessica Holbrook (which became Dialogue) line: my kind of style.

That other nail product, where the Rep used to bang her nails against a board to demo how effective her item was! Darn, can't think of her name.

I remember they used to have games where viewers could win something. Sometimes you had to call in but there was also something they did with a huge spinning clear plastic ball that had numbers in it, and one of the models would choose 4 numbers, and if they matched your QVC number you could call in and get a ten dollar credit. Once I actually won when a blonde model named Rinska (sp?) lined up the first 4 of my Q number.
I remember that once around Christmas they used to sell a 'cup of Christmas tea' (had that written on the cup) with a saucer and I think there was a little book to go with it. Kathy Levin once read that right before QVC closed for Christmas. I remember she was the last host and she said something about how she didn't mind it because it was something for a Jewish girl to do, or something like that.
The first item I ever purchased (and still have) was an amber spider pin from the Russian priest who sold items from Russia. Bob Bowersox was the host.

Yes, the numbers game! LOL. They never called my number (at least when I was watching)
Some qvc employee would pull the numbers. They had a spin the wheel too for various prizes over the years. Those days are gone. No freebies! ![]()

Loved Fenton Glass. Especially the Burmese.
Also really enjoyed the Boyd's Bears presentations. Not a bear collector, but the shows were fun - especially when Gary did the shows. He was hysterical. Some people apparently thought he was out of line, but I never saw it. Wonder how they would rate him now as compared to that booty shaking, pole dancing diva.
