I know this has happened to others.  Can't they be bothered doing an exchange or what?

I emailed the Social Team - they advised me to email the Easy Returns team which I did with no response.  Yep - can't be bothered.

Re: Refund instead of exchange

@FranandZoe Exactly!

Had to call Customer Service and they shipped what was supposed to be my exchange and removed the shipping.

We shouldn't have to do that.

Re: Refund instead of exchange

I sent an email to easy returns address regarding a return that shows USPS in possession of the return. Granted I waited only 24 hours but didn't recv any response.  Then I remembered forum comments regarding social team so I forwarded that email to the social team and within 30 minutes, item removed from easy installment and a credit applied.  I believe the most important part of getting a credit fast is that 1)  the item being returned has to show USPS in possession of the return and 2) that when returning the item whether you recv a shipping label in your package or not, instead use the return process shipping label.  This way the tracking number will automatically show up on the QVC return process tracking process.  This has been my experience since I started using the label. Prior too many times I had to wait a number of weeks to "prove" USPS had possession.  One more note:  the social team at end of their response advised me to send future return msgs to the qvceasy returns email address.

 @FranandZoe

 just send back a lug item that was defective as the magnetic closure did not work .

I was just sent an email abt my return  that did not include the shipping and tax.

Every other online company that I have dealt with returns the tax and shipping , so don't know why  one has to coanstantly contact QVC Returns  or Social Team for every things.

Re: Refund instead of exchange

Had an interesting Easy Return email exchange, that seems to ultimately be successful. I have the issue where I can’t print the return labels and it actually crept past the 30 days because it just didn’t work (and frankly I didn’t have time to call the phone number!) Finally emailed them…and all I got back was a return label. No actual email explaining what they did, what I need to do, etc. But, when I went online to look at my orders, I saw the exchange items ready to ship. So, maybe yours are there too? (Although I readily admit it’s a pain that we have to do this!)

Otherwise, I’m not sure I’ve ever successfully exchanged anything at QVC - maybe only once or twice have they done it.

Re: Refund instead of exchange

So last week I sent back an item (item received was not what I ordered - totally different brand and size), and yesterday I am looking at my email and I have one from QVC that says they received my return and ended up just refunding me, just too lazy to do what they are supposed to do - ship me the correct item.

The item I want is still available, so I am hoping this weekend they do free shipping and I will try ordering it again.

Re: Refund instead of exchange

Has happened to me two or three times.  Last time they sent me the email they were sending out my exchange & I'd have it in a few days. A month later, I contacted customer service & they said it had been credited!

The hosts go on & on about free exchanges & it doesn't happen!

Does QVC know how many sales they are losing due to this?

Re: Refund instead of exchange

I sent a sweater back last year for an exchange.    The sweater was no longer availalbe.  I got a refund minus return S&H.   I called Customer Service and they said if not in stock any more, there is a  return charge.   She credited it to me as I said that's not what is implied when hosts say exchanges free.    CS Rep told me that was policy and wouid apply to any future exhanges I wanted and item not available.   Just be careful when sending back for exchange   I always check the item online firs to see if still offered.
